This is the game I've wanted to play since I was a kid, and my friends and I cobbled together a Cyberpunk campaign based on the Styx album Kilroy Was Here. The multitasking and collaboration mechanics look really promising, and I love the setting. We have plenty of RPGs about stabbing things on the battleground, but precious few about music and culture as battlegrounds for hearts and minds. Even from the ashcan version, it's clear that physical violence is still an element of this game; however, I anticipate that the game will ask some tough (and dramatic) questions about the consequences of violence as a political tool.

I eagerly anticipate seeing the finished product. I've backed this on Kickstarter, and I encourage others to do likewise.

There's a wealth of eldritch, bizarre adventure in this relatively small package, and the tables provided are fun and useful in themselves. Both CDS 1.11 and 'classic' CDS are great games-- and there are things I prefer about the rules of classic CDS-- but in terms of setting, I'm enjoying the move towards less comedy and more Lovecraftian science-fantasy that this adventure represents.

Quill: A Letter-Writing Roleplaying Game for a Single Player

An excellent, innovative and unusual little game for the solo player. The rules are easy to learn and the scenario structure provides a useful 'game' framework while still leaving ample room for creative expression on the player's part. One could conceivably write any number of entertaining letters, referencing any number of imagined situations, within the parameters of the scenarios provided in the book.

I look forward to further extension of these rules and additional scenarios created both by the original author and by fans. Even though the game is 'Pay What You Want,' you should drop a few dollars on this product. It's worth the money.
