I learned most of these things on my own, but I purchased the product for the legal information now that DDG Games is venturing into the contract-writer realm.

For its content, I'd have to say that is seems a bit overpriced. But I guess they've got a corner on the market. Since it's really your only option in this category, its worth is whatever you'll pay for it.

Dungeons & Dragons Sound Track: Heroes' Valor
Publisher: Midnight Syndicate
by John W. [Verified Purchaser]

Excellent. Well arranged, complex, and professional in its production. Much more than one guy with a keyboard.

These tracks remind me of the Warcraft 2 soundtrack somewhat, which I thought was excellent.

Deadly Games

I was hoping this book would be a good source of traps and tricks I could strip from their setting and use as I wished. Unfortunately, the book isn't great for that.

Unless you want to use the entire society they've built into this book and use the arenas exactly as they've been written, I would not recommend this partilar volume. It's just not particularly adaptable, and I never use anything "as is".

But if you're looking specifically for a secret society who loves deadly games to plug into your campaign, by all means... Buy this one.

Tournaments, Fairs, and Taverns: D&D 3.5
Publisher: EN Publishing

The lower-rated comments for this product don't give it the credit it deserves. For any Dungeon Master with an imagination, who automatically assumes a sourcebook is something to be scrutinized (even if it's published by WotC) before use, 'Tournaments, Fairs, and Taverns' provides a set of rules and ideas brilliant in its simplicity.

Especially for the low promotional price, the product is a steal. If I had paid full price, I would probably only give it 4/5. But, all things considered, it deserves the highest rating.

Warrior ClipArt Vol 1

This is a decent collection of clipart. The art ranges from "okay" to "pretty darn good" and, for the price, it's worth it even if I only use one of the included images.

The low price prompts me to give this product the highest rating possible. It's certainly worth more than I paid for it.

Battlemaps: Dungeon Rooms Vol.I
Publisher: 0one Games
by John W. [Verified Purchaser]

I like the concept. The art is good. But I would have prefered a more "universal" approach where the rooms are made to tie into the other "Battlemaps" products in almost any way you wish to assemble them.

That's the way I'm going to use the product anyway, but it would be nice if the art meshed a little better. As it is, I'll end up with double doors on one end and a single on the other or a wooden door on one side and "prison bars" on the other. It works, but it's not as clean as it could be.

Over all, it's a good product and I'm glad I purchased it. Perhaps a bit overpriced if it's intended to be a one-shot, single configuration dungeon map, but it's worth it to me, as I intend to use it to revive the joy of the "dungeon crawl" in my campaign, laying out the tiles as appropriate to represent many different dungeons.

Also, the product is most useful if you've got a color laserjet at your disposal. Don't plan to use an inkjet; This will chew through your cartridges fast. If you've only got a B&W laser, the product has monochrome versions of the images as well - but, of course, they're not quite as nice.

Excellent for a free product, but I would prefer to have tiles to represent the entire dungeon.
