As with this all of these I have seen so far, this product is decent with a large volume of "duplicate" items with only slightly varying abilities. It's not strictly true that the product contains 50 new itmes. It's more like 15 - 20 with most of the others being almost identical with slightly different abilities.

LIKED: A reasonable amount of fresh ideas for $1. At best, the product sparked an idea of my own, at which point I wrote a completely original item based only loosely on the one in the product.

DISLIKED: Many of the items are weak. Only a handful are truly original. Most of them are basically duplicates with effects differing only on the element of the effect, the type of creature it affects, etc...

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
This is a good idea. I purchased a great deal of the collection in preparation for an upcoming treasure rich campaign finale.

LIKED: Each PDF is cheap and well laid out. Plenty of usable content for $1.

DISLIKED: The "50 magic rings" claim is only somewhat true. More than half the rings in this product are variants of the same ring or ring type.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Another incredible collection of art. I could base an entire product on the items in this collection alone. If I were contracting this art on a piece by piece basis, it would cost me at least $1000. For the price, it doesn't get any better.

LIKED: Fabulous quality, as is apparently the standard for art by V. Shane.

DISLIKED: If you're worried about the higher price, you'll be stunned by the difference in quality and wonder why you ever bothered with the cheaper collections.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
There's no denying that V Shane does top notch artwork. Instead of paying $15 - $25 apiece for custom art, I can spend the same amount of money on a small library of high quality images. In truth, I will probably use every single image in this collection in DDG Games products.

LIKED: Fantastic quality. Leaps and bounds above similarly bundled collections. Rides the perfect line between quality and value.

DISLIKED: It's a little harder to swallow the purchase size of these collections, but the overall value is truly higher than any collection I've purchased at any price.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I'm sounding like a broken record here if you've also read my reviews for Volumes 6 and 7 from this collection... But truly, I'm more satisfied with this art purchase than I have ever been in the past. For the price, the quality is magnificent.

LIKED: Great quality artwork and a simple, reasonable usage license. Most lesser collections come complete with restrictive and demanding licenses.

DISLIKED: My only gripe is that, since I bought most of these volumes in one fell swoop, I have 4 to 6 duplicates per product. Given the quantity of art in one collection and the quality of all of it, this is no huge issue...

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Good collection full of top shelf art. Use of these images will raise the bar on DDG Games products.

LIKED: As with the others from this collection, the art quality is outstanding. The best I've bought in a collection of this type.

DISLIKED: Some duplicates in the various set. It's not a big deal at all; there's plenty of unique art.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I've seen better for the price. Not a big fan of the whimsical feel of the images. But heck, for $3, it's worth buying even if I only use one image.

LIKED: Low price

DISLIKED: Whimsical, almost comical, art

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Decent art at a good price. Can't beat that! It's not perfect, but I'm hard pressed to complain when I can get even one usable image for the price of this entire collection.

LIKED: The price is right.

DISLIKED: I'm not a big fan of the 3D style of the artwork, but that's only a minor detraction.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Another excellent collection. As a publisher, there's nothing greater than this new trend of (nearly) open use clipart at affordable prices for small (tiny) press. This is an excellent offering and should be picked up by every RPG Now publisher.

LIKED: Great art. Great price.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
One of the best things about this book is shear volume of content. For the price of a 50 - 60 page book, you get over 100 pages of equal parts crunch and fluff. It's bound to appeal to anyone with a strong interest in horses or any Game Master with a player (or players) who take(s) their mounts seriously.

LIKED: Lots of useful content, mostly on topic. I especially like the quick generator for the horse's appearance; I'm always in search of details like this.

DISLIKED: Loses focus somewhat, but that's a small sin all things considered.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I purchased this book several months ago during a huge sale EN Publishing was having. I just now got around to looking it over and it's one of my favorites from the pile of products I got from them. The subject matter is obviously focused toward the archer and one's level of interest in that particular area will likely dictate their overall enjoyment of the book.

LIKED: Plenty of ideas for archers and archer-rangers.

DISLIKED: Perhaps made somewhat obsolete by D&D 3.5, but most content is still usable.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
I purchased this in a pile of products from ENPublishing quite a long time ago when they had a huge sale... I had little interest in this product at the time, but picked it up because the price was that darn good. Thus, the book had an uphill battle to impress me, since I wasn't really looking for such a volume.

LIKED: It was dirt cheap at the time and is a decent offering over all, especially if you're looking to adapt some decent ideas from their campaign setting into yours.

DISLIKED: It's not generic enough, focusing too much on their campaign setting. This nullifies large portions of the book from the onset for almost everyone except those who are starting a new game and need some ideas in the realm of the arcane.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
As is clearly stated, these images are public domain. Thus, theoretically, one could go out and download these themselves. That said, however, time is money and if a $5 purchase can save me hours of searching, all the better! Half of the art is OUTSTANDING quality and all of it is usable.

LIKED: Great art at a great price and you can't argue with the usage restrictions (none).

DISLIKED: It's definitely focused on real-world medieval Europe and may not be useful in too wide of a range of projects. This is about as minor an issue as issues can get, though, and does not detract from the value of the set.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
