I got these on a whim based on my overall satisfaction of other images from this group. I'll definitely use an image or two at some point.

LIKED: These are worth picking up even if there's only an outside chance you'll ever use them. Just look at the price tag and that should be obvious.

DISLIKED: The style is so different from anything else, that application of these images has to be pretty specific. Small complaint.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
ERG001: Portrait Package - Full rights

Publishers, do the math. For the price, if you use ONE (1) image from this collection, you've found yourself a bargain. A single, full-color image from a contract artist is easily 6-10x more expensive than this entire collection.

I will get far more than my money's worth from this product.

LIKED: On most the images, the artwork is exceptional for a stock art collection. At the price point of around $5, picking this one up, if for no other reason than to expand your collection, is a no-brainer. ALSO, as a huge point of interest, the creator of this product was extremely gracious and helpful when I had questions about the product. Good customer service goes a long way.

DISLIKED: It's a rather non-focused collection spanning modern images, sci-fi, and fantasy, but that's a very small nitpick as many of the images are usable to me, a fantasy publisher. Some images are very small and probably not ideal for print or e-publishing, but a great deal of them are extremely high resolution.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Creator Reply:
Thank you John! I apologise for the inconvenience, and I grab the possibility here to inform all my possible clients that the tiffs are zipped with WinRar 3.51, as John has a lower version he had decompressing problems. At the moment I don't have a registered lower version, so I probably will use a free softwar (7-zip or alike) to rezip the package (as soon as I get there). Thank you again!

For the price, I don't know how you give this less than 5 stars. This is a $5 product for under $2.

LIKED: The maps are incredible. This is exactly what I was needing.

DISLIKED: The maps assume a standard fantasy campaign and a good aligned city. While this is usually appropriate, it doesn't fit for my campaign. Half the product, the "fluff" half, is not useful to me. But for the price, who cares?

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I just started a new, "old school" campaign based entirely on dungeon crawling and subterranean exploration. An important element of making a game like this work, especially for someone who's played for 20 years as I have, is solid visualizations and inspirational game elements. In this regard, products like these are indespensible.

LIKED: Good art. Good price. A solid set to compliment #1.

DISLIKED: Would like more details.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
For two, this tileset seems to be the red headed stepchild in ways. While I have not printed it out and set it on the floor in front of me yet, it is not immediately obvious how to make this work together with the other tilesets I have purchased.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Thanks to an SKG sale, the price was a bargain as well.

DISLIKED: I'll have to add details myself. The fact that our purchase of APE #3 and APE #5 today completes our collection off all 7 should speak for its self. This art is somewhat more expensive than its competition but is a far greater value in terms of quality and usability.

LIKED: The quality is higher than anything you can get elsewhere outside of contracting an artist on a per-image basis - a costly endeavor.

DISLIKED: The price is higher than some but quality and usability easily outweigh this.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Not as many duplicate effects as with the other sets, but still lacking the imagination and inspiration I'd like to see in a product of this nature. Carries the feel of something simply slapped on paper.

LIKED: Along with most the rest of this collection, it helped me fill out a large number of items I was creating for my campaign.

DISLIKED: Only barely worth the purchase price. As with this all of these I have seen so far, this product is decent with a large volume of "duplicate" items with only slightly varying abilities. It's not strictly true that the product contains 50 new itmes. It's more like 15 - 20 with most of the others being almost identical with slightly different abilities.

LIKED: A reasonable amount of fresh ideas for $1. At best, the product sparked an idea of my own, at which point I wrote a completely original item based only loosely on the one in the product.

DISLIKED: Many of the items are weak. Only a handful are truly original. Most of them are basically duplicates with effects differing only on the element of the effect, the type of creature it affects, etc...

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
