I bought this product as part of a bundle. This one is better then the first one, but still not great. It's only really useful for publishers who don't have anyone on staff who knows graphic design much at all.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

I bought this product as part of a bundle. While these products definitely get better as you get later into the series, this particular product is only remotely useful. Publishers with any experience in graphic arts can quickly put something together that is better.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

I'd never been seduced by a product ANYTHING like this before. I've always taken my FRPG'ing very seriously and the concept of this game should have seemed childish, goofy, and "not really for serious RPG'ers" to me.
But something struck me about this one... Something in the product description that screamed "You know a whole group of players who are playing (that big d20 FRPG) who would really prefer the game to revolve around the story and be a little lighter hearted." So I bought this with them in mind.
Boy, did it teach me something... And with 20+ years of both playing and writing FRPG's under my belt, that's not easy to do. I found myself wishing all my gamers could relax their egos and take a Zo adventure with me... While that may not happen, I certainly now have a more suitable tool for enertaining all those "half gamers" in my group of friends and family.<br><br>
<b>LIKED</b>: Very complete in its efforts and extremely well written. Very much addressed my concerns of "how can I get (other FRPG) players excited about Zo?" and "In what way is Zo superior?"<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: It's a little bit pricey for the PDF, but that's a small complaint given the far above average quality of the product.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

(Changing my reviews based on publisher feedback)
The artwork in these collections is really very nice. Six full page images for the price, while not a must-buy, is certainly reasonable... Keeping in mind that "full page", in this instance, is expressed as a single subject with a background filling the rest of the page, not a truly, wholly detailed "full page" piece of art.
The publisher's clarification that the artist credits and copyright information can be moved and resized (resized is the kicker, since the regulation on the image's aspect ratio seems to belie this fact) makes a huge difference in my overall impression of the product. Also, if the Cerebrus logo can be excluded, that's another bonus. I originally figured, in the "spirit" of the license, that the logo was included as part of the credits and copyright portion of the image.
<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Most images are very good. All are useable. Another "way cheaper than contracting the artwork by piece" scenario.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The art would be most useful as covert art. Given the lack of details surrounding the central subject of each image, it almost seems like it was designed as cover art from the beginning. Thus I did not originally understand (my fault) that the art could not be used in product covers.
Given the "interior art only" clause, the "full page" nature of these images is sort of a "three quarters truth". As stated previously, "full page" implies that all of the art on the page contributes to the overall effect of the image. In the case of these, it's a single subject with background as page filler... So, while it's not a huge deal, you shouldn't think these are truly "full page" images by technical definition.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br><BR>[THIS REVIEW WAS EDITED]<BR>

Hello John,
I'm very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your purchase of my stock art collections. It sounds like I may need to rewrite my terms and conditions page to clarify a few things. First, the terms and conditions state that the images may be cropped as long as credits and copyright are re-added. What that means to you is that you can crop out the credits, etc. and re-add them smaller somewhere less intrusive. Since the Cerberus logo itself isn't included as a separate file with the collection, I don't expect the user to re-add that portion. That being said, both the product description and the terms and conditions page clearly state that these are for interior art and not cover art. Thus, someone thinking I created your product should not be an issue. I appreciate your feedback. These are my first products and there will be many more to come. I hope to improve the collections with each new release taking all customer feedback into consideration.
Thank you,
Joe Calkins

Slightly better than average compared to its competition, this package provides and opportunity to expand my collection of stock art even further.<br><br>

Really good art at a great price. More opportunity to expand my stock art collection, a must for any series indy publisher.<br><br>
<b>LIKED</b>: I love the shading and the detail. This is definitely on the higher end of the scale in terms of quality.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Why do all the women in fantasy art have to be mostly naked? I'd really like to see some tasteful, realistic images of females in stock art.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Nice art at a good price. For the price, worth buying even if all I ever do is look at it. On the downside, the art is of a nature that I may well never use.<br><br>

Nice art, good price. Price makes it worth buying if only to look at, though I may never have an actual use for the art.<br><br>

Another stock art rogues gallery, this one rather unique... Great if you're looking for exactly this style... Not so great if what you really need is generic fantasy images to augment a stock art collection essentially used as clipart, like me.<br><br>
<b>LIKED</b>: Images are good quality, far better than they would need to be to justify the price.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Images are very stylized and won't make very good generic fillers for your average publisher.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

These images, along with others form this publisher, will play a "front and center" role in a new boardgame we're putting out. This is truly decent art, especially for the price.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Some of the art is "goofy" for no apparent reason. Though, when scaling down the images to create miniatures, the lost detail benefits them. Also I dislike the "all females are mostly naked" trend.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>
