Love this program. Its got a bit of a learning curve, but once you get past it it really has a lot of great use. I'm a novice when it comes to art, but this really works well.

So far I've created the following things....

Floor plans for a number of early dungeons for D&D 4th (before I gave up on 4th edition...though they now work great with other systems like Savage Worlds) Blood Bowl fields Elfball fields Dungeon Bowl tiles for Blood Bowl and Elfball (these are 12" squares and interchangeable) Starship floor plans Open field battlemaps

I recomend this a lot, but be ready to take a bit of time learning the system.

Additional Resources: Pro: They have a ton of online resources and images you can download and use, Check out there website Con: but you need to develop a system of filing them that you can rember in the file system they provide. I've downloaded so much great artwork that I can't keep track of where I've placed it all

This is a decent product. However, after purchasing it and downloading it, the Reg Key they gave me was invalid. I tried for over 2 weeks to get someone from their company to assist with this. I never got a reply. Finally, I had to contact the folks at RPGNOW and they were very helpful. They contacted the Dunjinni people on my behalf and finally got them to give me the correct REG KEY.

I started using the product then, with no problems. Then I decided to purchase some art packs for this program, available from the Dunjinni site. However, when I tried to install the art packs, I got an error message that something is missing. Even after installing their recommended patch, I still have the installation problems. So, I emailed customer service.

That was April 12, 2010. I have still not heard back from the folks at Dunjinni, after sending them 3 emails.

My recommendation: While this is a good product, I would avoid purchasing this; if you were to have any problems with the software, you'll have nothing but headaches and updates that don't work.

I have been using DJ for the past 6 months and think its a great program. I run it on a Vista machine with no problems. The only problem I had was with the version supplied with the RPGNow download. It was an older version (1.04 I think) and is not vista compatible and patching it didn't help. After a quick email to the Dundjinni folks, they provided me with a full download of the current version (1.07) that installed fine and ran perfectly. The forum members are extremely helpful and there is a TON of free downloadable content to decorate your maps with. Sure, there are a few things I wish it did better (more flexible art asset management, faster performance, a texture blending feature) but it is a snap to use for someone like me whose little pea-brain can't figure out Photoshop. Dundjinni makes designing battlemaps for my group fun instead of a chore.

After spending three hours trying to get DunDjinni working on my Micrsoft Vista machine, I gave up. I followed all the advice in the forums and more, and still no luck. This is frustrating as I read some great reviews about this product and was keen to give it a go. I would advise if you have Vista, stay away from it until the developer brings out a truly Vista compatible version, or you have access to a MacOS or winXP machine.

Thoroughly disappointed.
