I kind of backed into this book instead of starting with it. I started with Cepheus Deluxe Revised, Cepheus Light, Cepheus SRD, then this.

I regretted not starting with the Cepheus Engine RPG first. It has everything that I need and the formatting is clean and readable. And I love the price point; I hate how ridiculously priced game books have become, and this is still reasonably priced for players of limited means, just like the old games.

I've read some people say that this is slightly crunchier than the other versions of Cepheus, but I'm an old guy who played the original games when they first came out, so I'm fine with this level of crunch. It doesn't detract from the gameplay at all.

I think I'm going to sell off the other versions as this version has become my go to book.
