Aquelarre

Very accurate translation of the spanish version, with a random character creation more compact than in the original: in this version it is more up-to-the-point and intermingled with the list of background features.

Anyburg and the Lands Thereabout

Fantastic help to create a realistic town, village or city. Not only offers numbers and statistics of population, density and professions, but also includes a review to add the typical fantastic races like orcs or elves. It is separated in three main bodies: -the town itself, with the minimum professionals per inhabitant to make it independent, divided by sectors (defence, education, trade, religious), with mention to fantasy genre. -the lands and limits of the typical city, natural resources, crops, etc, needed for the number of inhabitants and the type of the city. -several examples including maps and types of fortifications and castles, the example of the design of a town, and a template to create your own cities and maps.

Although most of the information is based mostly on medieval Britain, with little research it can be adapted to most of European medieval cultures and to any fantasy set-up.

Shadowrun: Mission: 04-03: Rally Cry

From a quick read, the story is absolutely well organized, including several actions the characters may take according to the situation and possible outcomes from the poorly-planned actions of the characters. Highly recommendable as well as a template to prepare future adventures. The artwork is generally good, although it doesn't reach the levels of Tim Bradstreet times. Too obvious use of computer. That said, the actual computer graphics are very good.

This sourcebook for Spirt of the Century (or any Fate system) is very useful, not only for steampunk campaigns, but also because it gives a lot of tips and clues to be used for old technology. Specially considering that SotC is already quite steampunk on its own (zeppelins and such). Highly recommended.

Basic poker playing cards 1

The idea is good, and for several futuristic rpg it may be useful. The figures are drawn with a style I am not particularly fond of but at least they include a tutorial for cutting the cards in a fast way.

COPPER DRAGON: Basic Dungeons 1

Good simple addition for any game where maps are needed (think of Dungeons and Dragons or the tabletop game Descent). Like it is, it may be a bit repetitive, but it's the basics. In fact, the real deal is when it's combined with other works of Fat Dragon, like traps or buildings.

The Book of Dumb Tables
Publisher: Hex Games
by Fernando G. [Verified Purchaser]

It is exactly what it promises. A book full of dumb tables. A great help for fast ideas and absolutely essential in any not-so-serious game, not only for QAGS system. It includes useful guidelines (in the shape of tables) for that type of players that came just to spoil the story because they finished the last mission of Fallout the previous day.
