An excellent assortment of modern US military images for use with Infinite Armies. You get everything from Aircaft to Armor to Infantry - all real pics. Plus, there are seven new card skins to use and two deck recipes. If you have infinite armies, you must pick up this very inexpensive add-on pack. It's a must-have.

LIKED: The graphics, card skins, and price. ($3.00 for 170 images!)

DISLIKED: No real naval units. But since the two included decks (Land Warrior and Euro Tech)have no real naval theme, it's a minor quibble.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Cool! A CCG that you design! BTRC gives you the rules and lets you design each card's stats and import any picture and card skin you'd like to represent that unit. You'll never be missing ULTRA RARE CARD X to finish off your deck because you can always print as many as you like. The game is actually pretty cool, with each unit able to have a special power and each deck to have a global ability.
The only drawback to this initial set is the included art, which is mostly clip-art. However, since you can import whatever graphics you want into the software, this is no big deal. Better yet, get Image Pack 2 (170 images for $3!) for some really nice modern military graphics and card skins and you'll be ready for war.

LIKED: Customizability, easy to learn rules, innovative idea.

DISLIKED: Can be slow on older machines, included art isn't too hot.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
A good, solid, but short, addition to the Iron Gauntlets line. The addition of Umbral magic and Timbre screams adds some variety and color to the Iron Gauntlets system. The five new vocations are interesting, especially the Savage Screamer.

LIKED: The new Vocations and the Price!

DISLIKED: More Gimmicks would've been nice.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Another small, but very nice set of terrain for any Sci-Fi setting. They'll go great with my Powered Armor Troops!

LIKED: The addition of the special Powered Armor Troops characters (Ganthor, the commander, the adviser) was a nice touch.

DISLIKED: It would've been cool to have different-colored energy field inserts for the ring, but I can improvise, I'm sure.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
If you liked either of the armies (Tribal Elves or Dwarves) then this set is a must-have. The art is great and the Tribal Elf village is particularly well-done.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
Highly recommended to anybody interested in Space Opera style games. The mechanics are solid and the character and starship templates will get you going quickly. I'm looking forward to more Genre Diversion games from PIG.

Ahem. Green Lantern does fantasy. Not the most original idea, but the end result is a fairly interesting prestige class. You can't beat the price, either.

An excellent alternative to Mutants & Masterminds or other standalone supers rpgs. You need D20 modern to play, but aside from that, most of what you need is in this file. Overall, I liked it enough to want more, like gadgets and techie stuff. Let's hope for more supplements soon...

Not bad, but not stellar, either. If you like rules-light systems and are willing to tinker with them, this may be good for you. Frankly, it's not my thing.

Best of the series! The catapult is a nice touch, but the War Beasts are the coolest units. Get this set if you like Mongol hordes or an unusual fantasy army to wage war with.

This is a surprisingly easy kit to build, and the finished results are well worth the effort. The tank is pretty big, well detailed, and just plain cool. The escape pod is a nice touch.

For their first world-pack, this wasn't what I expected, though I'm pleasantly surprised! At $7, it gives you enough ideas for a pretty cool near-future campaign. There's plenty of background info to use even if you don't run Microtactix' proprietary game system Simply Roleplaying. Emissaries could easily be adapted to GURPS, D20, Pocket Universe, or anything else. The only thing I didn't like was that the stand-ups provided with the set are in black-and-white rather than color. Further, there are only 16 stand-ups, with just three of them being Chonar aliens. However, that's just mostly nit-picking. This is a well-written, well-conceived work.

A nice departure from standard castles. I particularly like the earthworks, gabions, and chevaux de friese, as I don't think they've been done in any other model kit yet. Well worth the price.

If you need a bunch of dwarf stand-ups for your RPGs or you want to field an army on your table-top, get this set. The cannon is really cool, as well.

Much better in color than in B&W! Not only is this army good for your table-top battles, it's also a great source of fodder for your RPG games! Need 20 orcs for your PCs to beat on? Now you've got them! The addition of the spellcasters is a great touch.
