Absolutely awful! The spells are way out of balance; replicating Portent (The Divination Wizard key feature and possibly most powerful Wizard feature) as a level 1 spell!; giving the Lucky feat for a single combat as a level 3 spell!; giving all allies advantage for a minute as a level 1 spell!

Avoid this like the plague, not only are almost all the spells way out of balance with anything else, but the whole reason I bought it was to find idea's for level 7 and 8 Divination spells which aren't found in the standard game, and there is only 1 level 7 spell and no level 8 spells, so this doesn't even fill gaps.

I actually feel like this is a scam.

This is a must buy. No review really needed. The spells are balanced, juicy, and innovative. I would download again if that meant anything.

This is an outstanding game supplement in its own right. and also an excellent addendumn to the very clever and well-written Elminister's Guide to Magic on DM Guild. This guide provides fascinating insight, interesting lore, valuable playing suggestions, and several wonderful new spells for a school of magic that is often overlooked. And, it is not just for wizards or sorceror players/NPCs, all the other magic-using classes are well-represented. The material is laid out clearly and professionally, and the guide is a joy to read. The illustrations in the book are very good and add just the right amount of mystery and color. Even if you would not normally have an interest in Divination magic, this guide is so well-done and such a fun read, you would want to buy it. Elminister's Guide to Divincation is a great value and I highly recommend you purchase it!

This supplement offers some spells and class options which look pretty cool. These would be fun to play at any table, especially if used with Elminster's guide to magic. The overall presentation is pretty neat and I enjoyed the little notes from Elminster, so bonus points for creativity to the authors. I haven't played these yet, so I cannot comment on the balance, but nothing looks too terribly game-breaking. Overall, this is a pretty creative book.
