The first of (hopefully) a long line of periodical releases by the Guild Companion, this is The Guild Adventurer Issue One. At first glance, it looks a lot like the old sci-fi periodicals from days of yore. The layout is friendly and easy to read, the art is consistent, and the content is top-notch. There are some well-known ICE authors who contributed to this issue, and the quality shows. I highly recommend this product to those who have use for a quick location or a detailed adventure. It's not crunchy-intensive, so the contents can easily be converted to just about any campaign of the appropriate genre (there is both fantasy and sci-fi content). For those who use ICE systems to play, the contents are ready-to-go, and should fit nicely into any campaign.

LIKED: The layout. The art. The content.

DISLIKED: The fact that it's the only one of its kind, which will hopefully be remedied in time.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
