This adventure is simply incredible. I haven't enjoyed DM'ing an adventure like I did this one in many many years. The suggested price is honestly WAY too low on this for the huge amount of work the author has clearly put into it. I could rave about the adventure for some time, but I will limit myself to a few remarks.
This adventure is a pure pleasure to read. The amount of content that is here for the DM's enjoyment is staggering. It was awesome to find an author create content for the players AND the DM! It sure made running it a lot of fun. Poems, informational tid-bits, and even the editing help immerse you into the world as the DM. This adventure will likely be played over several play sessions and your players will be stuck in Elysium for some time. This is how it should be. There is much to explore and learn here! It took my players almost 20 hours to complete and they still didn't seem to scratch the surface of what is provided here. Honestly, don't let that scare you, though. It is well worth the time and effort.
I would note that the adventure probably isn't for novice DM's. In order to do it justice, you'll want to prepare it well and know it well. It requires a good understanding of how the city and atmosphere the author has created works. If you prepare well, though, your players will have a wonderful time.
The author has pretty much created a mini campaign setting. If you are looking for a place to start even new characters in, I could easily see being able to take this adventure and expanding it into a perfect Lovecraftian type of campaign setting for your players. You'd want to expand a bit on what the author has started, but with the huge amount of work done here, it wouldn't be too hard!
Amazing work, loved it!
A FEW SUGGESTIONS FOR THE AUTHOR (Contains Spoilers!!!):
-
It was somewhat difficult figuring out what exactly Cecilia's part was in this whole thing, what and why she was doing what she was doing, and what actions she had taken and in what order. Likewise, what caused the infliction to her. I would highly recommend a brief overview of Cecilia, her character traits (not numerical traits, but simply who she is), what she has been up to, what actions she's taken, and how exactly she ended up where she was. She's an important character and could use some more help.

There are a couple of random effects that were a bit too overwhelming. First, the Dragon's Charm curse should be also be able to be removed by a wish spell. I had one PC that literally NO ONE loves. Fortunately, he can cast the remove curse spell himself and he loves himself. I can see situations where this could permanently ruin things for a character. Second, the mirror at the end that annihilates anyone who touches it beyond bringing them back is too damaging. By Level 15-20, players have put a LOT of time into characters. There isn't enough foreshadowing or warning to offset such a HUGE risk. Perhaps require a wish spell only, or a miracle from a God, or permanent level drain upon resurrection.

Consider placing Elysium in the Far Realms, but obviously this is just personal preference! Either way, I'd make "The Beginning" and "The Wheel" endings a bit more interesting and rewarding. In both cases, perhaps return Elysium to it's original plane/existence in both endings (only to be slowly returned back to the Shadowfell as the 15000 years starts to come to an end). That would make the playable races and backgrounds more useful to players in the future as they build new characters. Likewise, it would probably make the characters heroes to all Elysians and would give them a city they are now very much attached to. Finally, "The Wheel" ending trapping them there forever also seemed a bit harsh (especially for players who have put so much time into their characters.)
- Seriously, it is an amazing adventure and we all loved it!!!
