This set of tiles is the terminus of all the other dungeon crawling sets. These are the small rooms where so many impractical combats take place. With the reintroduction of miniature gaming to Dungeons & Dragons, size of rooms matter, and the practicality of printer paper necessitates a certain size of room. The challenge is that this also means a certain size monster can fit in said rooms.

The biggest rooms in this set are four squares wide and long. These are clearly meant for medium and large humanoids, because there's doors on all the rooms. Some could be bedrooms, offices or reception areas; others are guard posts; some look like prison cells. The problem is that some of these rooms are so small their applicability to an actual tile-based combat is unlikely.

The tiles are certainly useful, but more modern dungeons no longer create such small rooms even though they might be realistic because of the miniature constraints. These e-Tiles will accurately provide all kinds of doors, alcoves, and rooms – but it might get awful cramped.

I own a lot of SK Games' tiles, and they are awesome. They're well worth the price. I use them as jpgs with Map Tool on a cloned monitor, and they really bring the setting alive.

Hopefully, they will get the town/city tiles going soon!

This is what is says: Small Chambers. The good is they look nice and many have original shapes.

LIKED: Small Chambers. No more massive 50x50 chambers only.

DISLIKED: The thing I don't like is that unless you cut the squares up at the doors you can see what the room behind the door is. This may be a problem for some.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Good for adding small chambers to the dungeon. i wouldn't get this unless you already own other SKG packs (which are generally excellent. The set is less 'generic' than some of the others but its still pretty useful. not mind blowing or inspirational but still excellent

LIKED: Up to the usual high quality SKG standard.

DISLIKED: I would like the doors to finish on the edge of tiles - I use 'fog of war' so (for example) a Pc has no idea what is beyond the door until he opens it - the way the SKG tiles are laid out makes this a little awkward for me as I have to cut up or modify the tiles. This isn't a major problem for me, but its slightly annoying

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Another excellent set that nicely rounds out the Dungeon tiles, this is the set that finally contains the ubiquitous 10' x 10' room so beloved of dungeon designers everywhere, although it looks a little pathetic sitting at the end of a typical 10' wide corridor (also beloved of dungeon designers everywhere). There are now some VERY interesting possibilities available by using all the range of tiles - now how about an adventure maps set using all the dungeon tiles, Ed?

All we need now are more Dungeon Details sets along the same lines as Dungeon Details Vol 2, with larger set-piece rooms.

LIKED: Small rooms have been needed for a long time, nice flexibility added to Dungeon Tiles range.

DISLIKED: Some of the rooms and corridors are a little....quirky for standard use. Could've maybe used a few more boring 'room next to a corridor' tiles.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Finally ... the classic 10' x 10' room is available on SKG tiles! But of course, Ed's imagination cannot be constrained to such banalities, so we get half-oval rooms, triangular and trapezoidal rooms. This is a must-have set for those of us who use SKG tiles for dungeon-building.

LIKED: Everything.

DISLIKED: I can't see any downside to this set.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
