Grung are great, but a little too high and low in places. Its my recommendation, that when a grung is wet, they should secrete poisons easily. Making it an at will ability for an hour using it as a bonus action.
Then I would tie it to proficiency bonuse uses, after an hour, they can use it that way, or until they apply a flask worth of water to themselves to recharge one use. I would also give them the ability to apply it on crits for free, as part of the attack.
In a game where I allow grung I would also personally add the limitation that they speak only common languages. If they roll a feature/class that has rare languages I would make the player flip a coin, heads they subtract one, tails they subtract 2 for their rare languages known, I think language hurdles are an interesting negative trait to give to these guys setting wise. Tongue Tied, is what I would call it.

Up front: At $4.99, this should basically be looked at as a charity donation that happens to net you one piece of general content (the grung race) and some background about a D&D stream. Objectively, what you get is not worth that price tag.
With that out of the way, this is neat enough. The grung's poisonous skin might seem strong for a starting PC, but it's probably on par with starting cantrips. This product would have been significantly improved with more details on how to roleplay grungs, however. (Though I suppose you can use the sample NPCs as templates.)

There isn't a whole lot to it, but it's fun for what it is. My players are having a lot of fun playing Grungs now!

honestly, I only got this for the Grung race writeup and it was well worth it IMO.

While it was super awesome to have Grungs introduced, there wasn't anything amazing about this document. The first page is an intro to Grungs, then an advertisement for a Stream. A few NPCs are introduced and that is it, no adventure hooks, no basic Grung village map, not even a page on Grung hierarchy and culture. On top of that, it does not make the Grung an offical playable race. It's fun, but it should have been around $2.

For $5 this probably is not worth the price as you only get the Grung race and a few premade characters, however, the money you spend on this goes towards Extra Life which is a great thing. The Grung race is very unique and works well for something like Tomb of Annihilation, another jungle adventure, or even a seafaring adventure as you should be near water most of the time.

Should be free, not sure what I paid for exactly. Basically just rules for making Grug Characters. I was hoping for maybe some lore, more art, short encounter... something. Fun to have and all, but I want my money back lol ;)

For $6.52 (the converted price to Canadian dollars) you get 4 pages, only the bottom half of the last page having any actual mechanics in it. Fully 50% of this document is the title page and introduction.
This is written for charity, yet there are more complete homebrew races for free on this site.

For $4.99, you can support Extra Life and get some bonus content. The grung race is nifty and the sample characters are mildly interesting.Overall, four pages of bonus material on top of a small charitable donation is always a great deal.

This is $4.99 poorly spent. 1) It is not a module, supplement or anything really related to an adventure. It is 4 pages long. 2 pages are the Title page and an introduction. Then you have one page of "fun" grung templates with names like "B'Ang R'Ang" and a half page of Grung stats. 2) Despite statements otherwise, it is not AL legal to play. Learn from my error.

Great for player characters to play a unique race, and one perfectly suited to Tomb of Annihilation.
However, at 4 pages and $4.99, not really worth the purchase, as I found it lacking in overall content, (character hooks, introduction to the game world (Chult or otherwise)), and only showcases 4 of the players characters in the event - and only to give some backstory, not their statistics, etc. I was expecting more for the price.
One title page; one half page of the authors background into the Grung life shared with half a page of artwork; and a page and half on the 4 characters and their respective artwork and the last half page to the traits of the Grung...
Artwork is stellar, the descriptions pleasant, and the content is heartfelt and speaks to the passion of the writer, and his love of the Grung!

The backstory of the One Grung Above crew are fun, but what we're really turning out for is the race. And I like what's there. But no sub races? Going off the Grung entry in Volo' s guide to monsters, they really should have put in at least 3 (green, orange, gold). And a list of suggested names would be great.

I've had the file opened for 30 seconds and already have great ideas for both new characters and new adventures!

A great race for those creative players who really enjoy roleplaying quirky characters! Notably, the grung's poisonous skin and ability to speak only Grung seem like they could lead to some FUN TIMES. The descriptions of the One Grung Above characters are a nice touch as backstory inspiration and as insight into what it means to be grung.
