I ran this at my local game store. Due to the time restrictions on the space available to us I had to try and fit it in a 4 hour window. This proved workable but required condensing the adventure, particularly the parts with rolls for encounters, but it would have been more enjoyable as a 6-8 adventure.
I thought the adventure itself was excellent from a story perspective and liked the amount of roleplay and skill based encounters it presented. On the other hand I found the combat itself a bit lackluster, largely due to combat encounters being built around combats with 1-2 powerful enemies rather than a slightly weaker main enemy and more but weaker minions. It may be a personal preference but I find the latter provides a more enjoyable combat experience due to the heavy impact of action economy in 5e. Happily, this is an easy fix for a DM to make themselves.
All said, this is an excellent adventure and I highly recommend running it, especially if you have players already doing Tomb of Annihilation.
