First of the book is done very nicely in its thematic and narrative approach. It falls apart considering the rules regarding magic in regards to the PF1E. The way spell are presented are very reminiscent of 5E/PF2, dividing them among Arcane/Divine/Natural spells (it does mention Wizard/Sorcerer/Magus, Cleric/Oracle/Inquisitor, and Druid/Ranger) as a loose guide. Seems the writer forget that PF1E spells are divided by general class lists such as;
Bard, Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Wizard, Alchemist, Inquisitor, Magus, Summoner, and Witch. With addition of Occult classes like Psychic, Medium,Mesmerist, Oracle, and Spiritualist. The other thing missing is Spell Components under the spell description. The last thing is Legendary Spellcasting which is 5E/PF2E for 10th level. PF1E does Mythic and Rituals, which those are not written out completely. Advertise as 5E instead, since its presentation is better suited for that system or please fix to be in compliance with PF1E.

Hi! May I start by saying thank for the kind words, they're thoroughly appreciated.
As for the content of the spell lists, we did intend for these to be viewed as a sort of "non-traditional" spell list, usable by anyone who has the capacity to understand them. This has apparently fallen very flat in most cases, so we do apologise for that, we've retained our intended use, Ie, any caster being able to use any of these spells, but we've also added a more traditional wizard 1, cleric 2, format to make them easier to include in gameplay. We do apologise for any confusion this has caused.
The "Legendary" spells are not intended to be actually used as 10th level spells by PCs. They are instead intended largely as flavour, spells to be used as lynchpins for campaigns, things that are beyond the mortal ken. Again this appears to have fallen flat so we do apologise for that and hopefully can be forgiven.
Thank you so much for the patience, the support and again for the kind words. They're very, very much appreciated! |

The Bardess Library has been a great addition, as it always gives a little bit of everything from new monsters, spells and rules for existing classes. This issue was great as a new Elemental School of Wizardry (and a promise of it's opposing school coming). It's nice to new new Wizard Schools (Elemental, Thematic, of Sub-).... I am hoping for more myself (Sand School...hopefully). If you are looking for a lot of great stuff...please check the series out! Great addition to PF1 stuff

It is great that support continues for the Akashic classes, this latest one really steps it up with a new class as well as archetypes and options for eisusting one. A bigger bonus is several new races and a deity too! I really like how Azoth has gone the extra mile to showcase non-western fantasy. Was hoping for a more info the Hindi gods as they did for the Sevrents of the Loa book. Great job as usual!

This product gives you 11 new divine domains, and 6 updated ones. Not only are these Nature Domains, but they also provide subdomain info as well. You also get some great feats for the divine domains. Always a fan of new domain options... again a great addition for PF1E

This particular book is a hidden gem of options for those still playing PF1E. There are a number of good spells, a new goddess with detailed new domains, and tons of feats. Plus some cool new weapon options too, my favorite waws the Dwarven Battle-Mugs! At first I thought it was another PF2 "compatible" product, but luckily in another product it was confirmed to be PF1E. Hope there is more to come (PF1E stuff)!

Bloodstone Press usually puts out great PF1E material, such as in their Amazons VS Valkyries series. Environments have been largely covered, but additional options are fun to have. The book is not a comprehensive book, but just some extra ideas for certain environments.
The Bad
1) Too much art work... It felt like they were stretching the page count with a lot of unnecessary art filler.
2) Lot of extra stuff that were stretch goals from the kickstarter could have just been thrown in instead of being sold separately...considering the high cost of the pdf. It seems pdf are suffering from "shrinkflation" Especially when compared to the awesome "Atlantean" book
3) Biome Themed Magic... the Aquatic -Marine one just trailed off with suggestions.... and most make references to per-exsisting material. Would have been great instead was substitution spell components or spellcasting methods based on the environment.

This River Kingdoms adventure guide was filled with some hidden gems, like a couple of races "Boggards" and Fey-touched, and a new deity added to the list as well.
The Adventure Guide is well done, giving you several maps of some settlement as well as the intrigue for several nobles houses in the area.
This was indefinably good buy! The Fey-touched bloodlines was great and would love to see more, glad this was set using the PF1E rules too!

Not only do you get a new goddess to use, but a bunch of new and updated Domains for your divine casters. New Divine Domains always add an extra flavor to the cleric, druid/shaman, and war priests in which you have some new combination of spells and abilities to use with your chosen deity.
With Amazon & Valkyries they have suggestion for most of the pantheons they have presented thus for, and some ideas for deities beyond the campaign such as the Aztec, Hindi, and Japanese pantheons (would love a list covering those pantheons since there is sparse support/material on those cultures available...cough ...cough).

A nice mix of races, classes, and items from the "Final Fantasy" series. The Knights of the round is an interesting class, but did like the "Moogle" and gunblades. Hopefully there are more Contact Other Planes volumes coming out, "World of Final Adventures" & "World of Old Scrolls", definitely have a lot of things to translate to PF1. OBW is doing a fine job of bringing new options.

This product collects the current Read Magic spells as to date, and add even more new spells! Not only does it have spell list for the stand PF1E classes, but also includes spells for the Occult Classes as well. Not to mention ones for the Death Mage, Lathspell, and White Necromancer.
Glad that some of the ideas from 5E and PF2 can be translated and flavored for PF1.
So far every products from OBP has been very useful, and glad that they are adapting some wonderful things in the Contact Other Plane series. It is great to see support for PF1E remaining strong. Crossing my fingers for Arcane Schools and Focused Schools, and perhaps expanding on Patrons for Witches..... like 5E Warlocks have.

Hey there! Thanks for the awesome review! We here at OBP love PF1E and love creating more fun options for us to use as well as other people. If you're looking for expanded patron effects for the witch ala the 5e Warlock. Take a look at the Legendary Witch published by Legendary Witch, you might notice some familiar names in the authors of that book :). |

Over the years there have bee a few attempts to make ESO material for 3E and 5E D&D. It is a rich world with some unique items to bring on over to the TTRPG. I was super excited to see this out, it has a good mix of things as options for monsters and spells. I was really happy that Soul Gems were discussed, as I came across one 3E D20 mechanic lost that presented that option as well.
The conversions here from popular other works is great. I really hope to see more of the "World of the Old Scrolls" as there is so much one can add to the fun for Pathfinder 1E

As usual, top notch ideas from Alluria. As a long time RPG fan it is nice to see the other dragons that have popped up over the years and faded into obscurity. We get updated dragons for PF1, and even a new deity. Plus it was a great extra to include Kobold tribes. Half-Dragon/Draconic Bloodline sorcerers didn't get any "breath weapon" options, but you can come up with something based upon previous rules.
Here hoping they also do the lost "Metallic" dragons as well.

This is a 20-Base class. Plenty of spell options, monster template, and new cleric domain. Your spellcaster will never go hungry with this class.... plus playing with cheese offers so many options...especially with low level characters and the usually deadly rats we have to fight at first level.

If you are looking for a great art book, gods and goddesses does supply you with stunning art. As far as a game book, it does provide some information on overlooked poweres and the deity's stats as well. The 5E edition presents domains associated with these gods,
sadly this pathfinder version only has the STATS for the given deity, three new spells, and a few magical items and artifacts.
If you were hopiong for some domains..... don't hold your breath.

The artwork is awesome, and this product gives some great options for Oracles. AvV is a great campaign setting that does offer a nice slice of historical fantasy. Hopefully the other 5E books get translated to add more to the PFE1 stuff.
So far the charcter archetypes are a great way to fleshout the followers out the powers
