One of the earlier works on the vault, Madision by Night is a oldie but a goodie. This product covers the city of Madison, WI in only 16 pages, but does a fantastic job giving us a look at this Anarch stronghold. The book manages to provide us with history, locations and numerous fleshed out characters within its limited page count.

The Tabletop Gaming Club really thinks this product is well worth the price. We are currently using it in our campaign and recommend everyone pick up a copy.

A must have for fans of the Anarachs, politically volatile gameplay, or even just residents of Madtown. Some of the coolest vampire bios I've yet read and the subtle local references made me punch the air with joy!

Very well done indeed! The look is clean and intriguing, especially with precise and at times almost poetic section headings. More, the "world" of Madison feels consistent, so much so one can easily imagine how to make a character "fit in."

I did wish for more general knowledge about Madison itself, such as the population. More, a tad more background information about the NPCs (all of whom seem very cool in their own ways) would have been nice (like sires). But that is a personal taste.

Overall, an admirable job done with an impressive economy! Many thanks!

I'm not sure when I first read that Madison was a rare anarch stronghold in the mid-west (Chicago by Night?) but I always remembered it for that and it's great to finally see a book for it. The author does a lot with the 16 pages - a brief history, map and geography, locations and important characters along with some adventure seeds at the end. Highly recommended.

Great setting information and a wonderful cast of Vampire characters to play with! Looking forward to future expansions! Mad City rest-stop on the Anarch Highway! Very cool.

As someone living in Madison, it's a lot of fun to see how Bill merged all of the real (and semi-fictionalized) places together into a very interesting setting.

Very well writen and a great resource for any storyteller that would want to run a game in Madison.

Well worth the price!

Madison by Night is a solid introduction to the affairs of the Anarch Kindred in Wisconcin's Capital City. This book covers a brief history of the Kindred within the city, as well as profiles on numerous vampires who currently make Madison their home. Several locations of interest are detailed, including two neighborhoods which are declared part of the Rack, giving a Storyteller just enough information to build on.

The book ends with a number of compelling plot hooks/story ideas. Armed with this volume, a troupe is ready to begin exploring the World of Darkness Madison!

If I have a complaint about this product, it is simply that I would like to have seen a little more information about the city itself. Hopefully there will be a follow-up volume or expansion piece. At the price point, it is an EXCELLENT value!
