Loved this adventure. As another review stated, it's hook or background is pretty much completely lacking. However, I particularly enjoyed that aspect of it as it made it incredibly simple to place into my world. The author does a wonderful job with each and every room and my players loved it. It will take a little additional work on your part, but honestly, I felt like that ended up being a bonus, not a negative.

My players loved this adventure and so did I. It was a joy to play, however I believe the hook that draws the players into the story is a little weak and could use a bit of depth. This small issue is quickly made up by the fun and intricacy of the mansion itself. I did some tweaking on my part to satisfy the needs of my own party, and you could easily do the same. Great stand alone story, as well as a great foundation in which to build upon to match your own taste.
