I have actually already run Against the Cult of the Reptile God for D&D 5e, but this document is nonetheless incredibly useful. It condenses the information of the module down to a few pages, making it very easy to reference quickly. Furthermore, its conversion is both faithful and useful, as it both sticks to the information in the original module (retaining, for example, the equipment and spells of various NPCs and monsters) and offering useful replacements for monsters which do not now exist. I think I'll be using this Abramo stat block in the future. At the same time, however, it also provides guidance on how to update the adventure. For example, it includes a listing of all the magic items from the module, but also acknowledges that to have a truly balanced 5e game, a DM would want to curtail the number of items.
My only complaint would be that (SPOILERS for the module ahead! (though if you're reading this, you're probably a DM anyway)) Explicitica Defilus herself is rather disappointing, and she feels vastly underpowered for the task of fighting 4-7 level 3 characters along with Ramne the wizard. Her bite's poison damage is reduced to 1d4 if the character fails a fairly easy to pass through luck DC 13 Constitution save. Also, with less than 100 hit points, she's not likely to last more than two rounds, tops, so she'll barely be able to land any damage on the party (it's true that Explicitica is given the shield spell, which raises her AC to a potent and hard to beat 20, but that still only requires that the party be lucky, so she'll either be hit and take the damage anyway, or be too frustratingly difficult to hit). Explicitica's converted stat block doesn't even include the fireball spell, so she would technically be incapable of casting that first spell which Ramne blocks with globe of invulnerability as per the module (though of course, any DM would be free to just have Explicitica cast the spell, so that's an easy enough fix).
While I have spent a lot of time on my complaints about Explicitica, I do want to say that I really enjoy and appreciate this conversion document. Besides my minor quibbles about the reptile god, it's a really solid conversion that I think will be extremely useful to me as I run Against the Cult of the Reptile God in the future. At less than $2 and only 14 pages, it is well worth the money you'll spend and the time you'll save while trying to run the module for 5e.
