This is a pretty neat product that describes a way to use skills in a variety of combat situations. It does this through a new mechanic called "a stunt check." It's based on your opponent's stats, and you get to add your bonus from the relevant skill. The stunt mechanics are quickly explained, and the rest of the product is examples of stunts and the relevant ability used.

LIKED: Inexpensive. This is a good way to liven up combat and maybe give an otherwise combat-light character a way to make a difference. The examples and flavor are well done too.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is a collection of over 20 new mutations (and 3 new drawbacks). These are more powerful than most mutations, and some border on being "magical."

LIKED: High quality pdf, which is typical for LPJ products. These very creative mutations can add a new dimension to players and to their enemies.

DISLIKED: Some of the mutations are very powerful, and care should be taken when introducing them into some campaigns. Some of these mutations are "superhero" powered.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
Most people are familiar with the Seeds line of products. This one compiles all fiveof the Post-Apocalyptic Seeds volumes into one set. Basically, you get a paragraph or two describing some scenario. These can help you come up with an idea for an impromptu session, or provide the basis for an adventure.

LIKED: Large variety of Seeds can keep the ideas flowing for a long time.

DISLIKED: Some can be too "over the top" or disruptive to some campaign settings.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Really...what can you say about this. This is 100 things that you might find in a barrel or crate. That's all. Roll a d100 or take your pick.

LIKED: Huge variety of items...over 99! Its only a buck. That's a bargain.

DISLIKED: Some of the weirder ones could use a short description. What's bergamot?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
A list of things you might find in a bag or a pouch. You already knew that from the product title, though, didn't you? Good way to entertain roleplayers or sticky-fingered rogues. Also a good way to make hack-n-slashers kick you in the stomach and quit bothering with random bags and pouches.

LIKED: It only costs $1.00. Some of the items are interesting ("Ooh, a bone box? Is it trapped? What's inside? Blah blah blah.")

DISLIKED: Some of the items are DUMB ("Dried tree sap? Why do you hate me, Mr. GM?"). Page border is yuck.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
This is a 7 page pdf that contains 100 different statements that the PCs may overhear in a tavern, a crowd, etc. They're all pretty general; no npc names or location names, so they fit well into many situations.

LIKED: They're pretty creative...many would be good springboard for an ad-hoc rpg session. PDF is nicer looking than the typical TFG bargain product. $1.35 is pretty cheap.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is a short pdf that presents some pretty interesting mechanics for making damage a little more "realistic." It does a good job of introducing some grittier damage to combat, but its not so complicated that it would bog down the game.
In addition to the three main concepts (tracking individual wounds, bruising and its effects, and bleeding wounds) there are some other neat ideas and options to add even more depth.

LIKED: Easy to handle rules that are not overcomplicated or ridiculously "hardcore." The simple mechanics are easy to tweak to an individual DM's players and campaign style.

DISLIKED: The bruise mechanics are pretty rough...lose 1 point of CHA for untreated bruises? To be fair, an optional rule limits this to damage rather than permanent loss.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
100 little statements that the PCs might overhear on the streets of any town. They're pretty generic (no NPC names or named locations) so they fit in a lot of situations.

LIKED: $1.25 is pretty darn cheap for 5 pages of material. Some of these are interesting, some are amusing, most could be useful.

DISLIKED: The product's border...yeesh, its terrible.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
This is basically a list of 100 types of drinks, just as the title of the product suggests. Most of the entries are based on real-world drinks, both modern and medieval. There are some fantasy items tossed in, but nothing too crazy.

LIKED: Quick way to get some items to serve at a tavern, or if someone grabs a strange drink in a tavern.

DISLIKED: There should be a deluxe version of this product that gives a short description of each major item, as well as a gp cost. Are you listening, Top Fashion?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is a list of 100 different symptoms of diseases, allergies, disorders, etc. A nice way of using this is to give NPC's some quirks, although you'll have to improvise a stutterer with a runny nose on occasion.

A nice long list of items to populate the stalls of the merchants in your game. Its best used to get a list of the basic items available (Lanterns and bottles), after which you provide descriptions of individual items.

DISLIKED: Could be more specific, and perhaps give price ranges.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
