A nice compilation of all the thrilling Tales releases under one cover. I purchased the POD edition, and it's a nice, high quality book with great illustrations.
The book will serve anyone well to run a pulpy adventure campaign using D20 Modern rules. Includes most everything needed to do so; no other resource will be required (you've got the classes, villains, and equipment and vehicles necessary for the task). As D20 style splatbooks go, this one is full of useful content for the specific style of play evoked by pulp adventure.
The main downside to this book that I can see is that, as with most D20 materials, it's a bit hard to customize. If, for example, you want to have a more super-powered pulp game (where costumed crimefighters have special abilities) this book won't do it. Additionally, if a certain class doesn't quite fit your expectations for the genre, you'll have to do some modifications to fix it to your liking, but that's normal for D20.

LIKED: Complete, everything a D20 Modern GM needs to run pulp adventures.
Well written, easy to absorb and use.
Nicely illustrated with lots of thematic art from the period.

DISLIKED: Designed for a fairly specific style of pulp and not too flexible outside of its own constraints.
Wouldn't have minded a section with even more villains than was provided....but not really a flaw, they did provide plenty of stuff within.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
