Had a blast with this adventure. I'm new to DMing but my players wanted to try high level game play. I loved the story and theming and each encounter was unique and entertaining for the players.

The only issue I had was the final battle. It could have been my fault but the BBEG was just too weak for my party of 4. I ended up having to boost its HP mid fight. If I was a more seasoned DM, I maybe could have sprinkled in some appropriate CR trash mobs or used the BBEG's legendary skills to better effect. That said, I would run it again if I ever got the opportunity.

This adventure makes for a nicely satisfying end to an ongoing campaign in which the PCs have finally reached max. level. I'll be using this adventure as an epilogue to a year-long Greyhawk arc, plus it features villans that happen to build on our existing campaign themes. It gives the players a chance to flex items, powers, and abilities gained as a result of hitting 20th level, and the story is extremely flexible regarding when and how it occurs. I am confident my players will enjoy this experience as much as me!

Bought this and ran it with my party, wove it into the campaign so a lot of details needed to be tweaked but the material is pretty light on details so it was extremely easy to fit into the campaign. However, there are a lot of grammatical and spelling errors throughout the text. The Showdown section specifically references what I assume were draft names for the Elder Being's abilities but when I first read through the adventure I had only skimmed the stat blocks so did provide a slight amount of confusion when I started prepping the adventure. In all, it was a very fun adventure to run, but I think some of the motivations for characters, specifically in the Hidden Temple, are too sparse or non-sensical, really does require the DM to rework a few details because I wasn't completely satisfied with Part Two straight out of the box. I would really like this to get another editing pass and an updated version with some of the grammatical fixes. I also found it a little surprising that there was an included Black Lake map but nothing for the final encounter.

Just finished GMing this adventure with my group and it was a blast. The premise of the story is really engaging and the final encounter is truly epic. It can be played in a long session or two shorter sessions. Really recommended.

I ran this for a 40th birthday party to give eneryone the experience of playing Level 20.

Fun adventure, but not too much of a challenge for 20th level chracters and players who know how to use them. Feel free to ratchet up the danger.

This Adventure is great to try out LvL 20 with experienced players. I ran this Oneshot twice for different groups and all had a lot of fun. All the Encounters were somewhat on the weakside for a coordinated LvL 20 Party of 5 Players. So I suggest giving your players only 1-2 hourglasses and upgrading a few monsters (Adding the Brass Dragon Mother as an Ancient/Adult Dragon, Giving Shinoh more HP and giving the Divine Horror around 500 HP).

I ended up playing this adventure, rather than running it, and everyone involved had a great time! The premise is sufficiently epic for level 20, and it's long enough to last for about a session or two, which is just right (especially given the low asking price). I wish there was more high-level content like this!

Great adventure. I ran it with pleasure. Two things to suggest, use a legendary action for every PC on the last battle, don't worry about the number. I also gave Tempani and the divine elder an extra +10 to hit. The PCs still found it fairly straightforward. It was a lot of fun, great for a one off, did it in one evening.

Ran this and it was a huge hit. I made some fairly big changes starting with Pcs being called from their alternate timelines through the multiverse. From Dark sun to Faerun to Ebberon and Spelljammer. Tied them all together that this was The entire multiverse event and all versions of themselves and everyone they helped in life and the timelines they changed would end. The first encounter with the dragons I went with 2 adults and 2 young. A mix between brass and bronze. That was a disaster. 5 lvl 20 Pcs waltz threw it. Highly suggest starting with 3-4 Adults dragons depending on your table. If they are more experienced you will need to up HP. They walked through every other encounter and roleplayed great to bypass possible enemies I even added. During the whole time weaving our years of table adventures into the story. All culminating in meeting the Solar on spelljammer in wildspace. They ended up bringing the Katori I used for Klauth and gave him Imaskari magic the best I could come up with. This is when I storied together multiple Elder Evils trying to break free. Completely rewrote Tempani and the Horror stat block and amped it up to stupid levels. Added magic weapons and armor. rewrote actions spells and legendary actions. I also added lair actions and changed save rolls to emulate older versions of dnd and brought in fortitude reflex and will saves adding saving throws together and going 30-35 Dc. Used going in and out of the phlogiston to show divine magic waning and letting them know about fire magic used in it. Had 3 3-4hr sessions with this one. Ended with Comets falling past the ship in greyspace crystal spheres which players don't know but carried star spawns and for telling of Atropus coming near. As it ended I had greyspace being covered in a mist on the world of Oerth.

The world where my next adventure will take place another one shot found here... The frostpine horror by 22c gaming by new Pcs rolled up. Then the mist of ravenloft is hitting all of greyspace which will lead after frostpine to Ravenloft and Strahd with new characters at lvl 1. This is fantastic as written would advise to beef up encounters some or completely buff them if u got a table of min/max guys like me. But this gives you so much to build off of its magnificent. Sorry for the long winded and atrocious comment structure my phone sucks and I'm tired. Adventure for me is a 22 out of 10. Beautifully done.

I ran this for the party that had retired their characters from an old campaign. They had a blast playing at lvl 20 and what was nice is that the time aspect will let them play those characters again without altering their history (too much). Thank you!

On the one hand, a fun approach to a difficult tier to write for. On the other hand, don't start with "tell me about your epic character's epic deeds" if you're going to end with "you fade, your actions erased from history as though you never existed."

This was a great level-20 one-shot. We used the pre-generated characters, which I handed out white-elephant style, and it took under 6 hours to complete. I ran the game at the local RPG shop and used their maps. The included maps are ok, but not up to the quality that I need for paying customers on a digital table. Some of the NPC names were comical, but the story itself is good, and some of the encounters were very memorable. There could be more 'read-aloud' text, and the NPC conversations cover a lot of ground. The included art is good, but it felt like stock art since it didn't match with text very well. Overall, it's a fun module.

This was just a GOOD time. I ran it for a well established dnd group who never gets to be level 20 characters and they all loved it.

TLDR; Absolutely fantastic "one-shot" (I played it in two sessions, as the party took a turn I wasn't originally prepared for; nonetheless if you really want to flesh out the whole galactic level doomsday theme, i'd reccomend doing two 3-4 hour sessions). The material and storyline/hooks provided was more than enough to give the DM a good idea of a general direction to take the adventure. I had players at my table that have been playing since second edition and they said it was one of the funnest times they've ever had playing. If you've never DM'd for a tier 4 group I reccomend being really careful about the items you let the party have in the adventure. Personally, I loosely went off of what was alloted on pg. 135 in XGTE regarding distribution of magical items.

More in depth; In my party of 4 they EACH had: 1 Legendary, 1 very rare, 1 rare for equipment. For consumables, I alloted 3 VR, 5 each of R/UC/C. What made DMing difficult was the legendary items, of course. On top of them being literal hero's of their worlds. I just reccomend going over what they have and explaining you ultimately want them to have fun, but also don't want them to break the game. For example, our RP based character (which initially was able to blow past the young brass dragons based off RP alone) had a ring of three wishes. He had expressed he wouldn't do anything to break the game and I trusted he wouldn't. All he used it for was towards the end of the BBEG encounter was wishing the affects of the aura away and his second wish was for them to end up on the plane of Elysium when their time came. The first one saved them from a TPK and the second one just added more flavor to the adventure which is always good, even though the Planetar in the first chapter explicitly explains they'll all suffer the fate of death which he himself cannot escape. All in all, I did a lot of "rule bending" to keep the flow and to ensure everyone got their "moment". For those who have a RP based character, I reccomend using "Shinoh's" geas spell to turn the young brass dragon(s) against the party if they originally blew past them due to a high RP based roll. Normally I wouldn't do something like this, but it's a pretty big encounter that'll be missing and will drastically reduce the length of the one shot if they also choose not to lower the ward protecting the temple later on.

To the Author: Thank you very much for the fantastic story material, art work, and interesting character sheet for the elder evil/divine horror. This has inspired me to go on a journey of making a sort of consollidated homebrew "book" for creatures of the far realm as official sources don't go into great detail and are (intentially, unfortunately) ambiguous about the far realm in general.
