This review was a long time coming, but I had ran this a total of six times already. It's now one of my go-to T3 adventures because it's easy to set up, it has a great story flow that is quick to capture my players' attention, and the combat has a good balance for a T3 party. I really enjoy building up the suspense and horror as the players explore each room and uncover more of the story of what happened on the Orca and its crew. I would say DMs should really give this adventure a try, especially those that love themes of eldritch horror and stuff like Dead Space and Event Horizon. I've been running this as one of my staple adventures, and I don't think I'll stop any time soon! As for the assets, they're all really high-quality, you can tell a lot of care has been put into the design of the map, art, and handouts. I want to give a big thank you to the author for putting all their time and effort into creating this adventure, it's become a favorite of many of my players, and to all future purchasers, I hope you all come to love it as well.

I am in love with this adventure as it's quick to capture players' attention with the whimsical and unorthodox premise of a literal goat mayor. It starts off really silly and sometimes confuses my players, but as the story continues it starts to unravel the dark past of an odd and unassuming town. The twist is rarely expected by anyone, and it leaves people with a really memorable and fun experience by the end of the adventure. I've run this plenty of times at various events and I never get tired doing so.

A proper adventure which offers ample opportunities for combat and roleplay. The personalities present in the adventure were definitely quite memorable too. I think people who are fond of lore regarding Red Wizards and Thay would find this adventure pleasant.

Had the opportunity to run this during a multi-table play event and it was really epic! It gave players that heroic feel trying to defend Parnast really early on in their adventuring career.

Amply challenging and a hit for players who like that extra combat challenge. Hartkiller as an NPC was a notable personality as well and gives enough opportunities for roleplay in the adventure.

My players and I always enjoy the unique mechanics in this adventure, it really encourages people to be creative with how they go about bartering and trading the very amusing and flavorful items. Will never get tired of running this as it seems to be a real hit with new players!

The adventure could draw on a bit too long with the exploration, but it's engaging enough to not feel like it's too much of a slog to get through. Would run again!

This adventure was very frustrating to run as a GM and I had to change and alter a lot of parts in the adventure so as not to take away player agency from the participants. This adventure did not reward creativity and thinking outside of the box; as a matter of fact, in the after-game discussion, we all agreed that it punished creativity in solving the problems laid out before the players. I usually do not have to try this hard to make sure an adventure would flow smoothly and not give my players a sense of being rail-roaded or forced down the path the author wanted. At the very least, my players' participation and willingness to still make things work was a nice touch during the experience. The premise and concept of the story is a very solid foundation, unfortunate it was overshadowed by the constant niche answers to problems that could be otherwise solved with alternate methods.
