Smashing. Absolutely smashing. I think there's more content than the previous, gratis version. There's certainly more art, though in some cases that's not an improvement. A delight to play, especially if you've ever read Blyton.

I adore this game. Ignore the (very) light frosting of parody, and it's about as close to a tabletop versioni of console games as I've seen.

Given much better graphic design, elimination of that foul beast known as Comic Sans, and the excision of some of the punnier aspects, it'd be near perfect.

Possibly not a long-term game, but great fun.

This is the first Ronin Arts product that I've been less than happy with. It's really just a variant damage system for people bothered by the d20 hit point system. It's not as radical a change as the famous (and free) Grim & Gritty rules, nor does it seem as good or simple.

I may use some of the environmental damage rules, but that's about it. If things like the Core Rules forced march rules keep you up at night, this is the product for you.

A remarkable work. While listed as d20, it's very suitable for all gaming systems, even Sci-Fi games (if you ignore references to magic). Very good also for non-gamers who wish to create secondary worlds, again ignoring certain references.

On the bad side, you need to understand that the lower quality of exterior and interior art is not indicative of the product's actual content.

For gaming, I especially liked the listing of magical creatures that, while not tough enough to count as monsters, add flavour and different kinds of challenges for a gaming session.
