This is the right stuff for people who want detailed rules on gadgets. What's missing is 'interesting' stuff about gadgets, like multi-part gadgets that turn into something else when put together, synsergies and interaction with non-device-powers.

I didn't like the graphics except for the picture of gimmick that's from the core rule book.

This is a very inspiring adventure. The only things that ring a bad tone for me is the 'deus ex machina' turn of events - the PCs have no chance to sicceed at the end without external help. A GM must be very careful not to give the players a sense of being used to tell a great story.

It really is on the high end of epic fantasy and is, as the author states, very well for ending a campaign (or game word).

I will definitely use this, albeit in a modified form.

One of the lower-rung products of the planescape settings. Mostly interesting for people who want to see what can be done with the outsider races.
