Great halflings set! A few more armored halflings would've been nice and this pack but well worth the purchase. I would rate it 5/5 except for this small issue. Another great mini set from Arion.

Pewter or plastic minis are great but can be cost prohibitive when amassing a reasonable variety for a campaign. Arion Games paper minis are a cost effective alternative that look great and can be printed in whatever quantities are needed. When printed on cardstock, they are also fairly durable. Most come in both 2-sided and 3-sided formats and all are in full color. Even if you intend to acquire more traditional miniatures over time, these paper miniatures are an outstanding base from which to start. Highly recommended!

A wonderful set of miniatures. Graham puts some great computer magic on these miniatures to really bring them to life. Certainly more detailed than pre-painted plastic minis and a lot lighter too! Very nice Artwork and realistic miniatures. Especially for Gamers , Gamemasters this Set is a very useful tool to get a lot of nice miniatures at a very low price. Halflings Set is a 4 page pdf of paper miniatures for fantasy war gaming or roleplaying games, and is part of Arion Games' large and expanding line of paper miniatures. This particular set contains 19 full-color 3D rendered miniatures of halflings set to a 28 mm scale. These miniatures offer an attractive and cost effective method of generating large amounts of figures for all your gaming needs.

The miniatures contained in this pdf come in two varieties, flat or A-frame folded miniatures or triagonal miniatures with three faces rather than two. While instructions for folding them are not part of the pdf in an effort to keep the pdf size down, they are available from Arion Games' website. The instructions provide easy steps to fold and glue your miniatures together, creating all your gaming needs in just a few minutes of printing and cutting.

Halflings are frequent in most fantasy worlds, and this product provides a variety of of different figures. 15 figures are smaller single figure miniatures and include halfling shiriffs, females, archers, farmers, slingers, militiaman and others. The other 4 miniatures are larger and include a halfling farmer and cart, and three different halfling riders on presumably ponies. Each figure is beautifully rendered and visually stunning and provides views from the front and back for flat versions and three different side images for the triagonal versions. There is no loss of detail even when zooming in on the various images, indicating high quality 3D artwork.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: The rendering is beautiful and of a very high standard, providing a high quality product containing essentially unlimited halflings for gaming at very good value.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The miniatures seemed to focus on the more mundane examples of halflings, rather than, for example, typical halfling adventurers or heroes. The halfling riders appear to be riding horses, although perhaps riding dogs may have been alternative options that would've been worth seeing.
