Nice setting, and fits well with the Wilderness Tiles sets. Such a pity there isn't an upstairs though with a few rooms for both the innkeeper's family and some rooms to let. I would have been willing to pay more just to get the upstairs of the tavern. Or another house next door for the innkeeper at least. Current problem is, is that there are no wilderness houses tilesets, or town house tilesets. Hopefully they will appear one day.

What is here is all good, it just feels like a half completed project though.

LIKED: Wilderness Setting seamless compatibility

DISLIKED: No upstairs, such a shame.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
A pleasant little tavern, fun to use if you don't think about it too much.

Like all e-Adventure products, very pretty.

Nicely inexpensive.

LIKED: Quaint. At least this one has some benches, but still too many chairs for a medieval setting.

DISLIKED: No set-aside area for the staff, just a corner with the kegs. No storage area. I wouldn't want to be proprietor of this tavern.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
While different from the standard E-Adventure Tiles I'm used to, this small tavern can be quite handy to throw down in the middle of nowhere, or to serve as a nice rest stop between towns. I will definitely get it laminated and find a way to use it.

Artwork is crisp and nice, and I like the option of having the tavern at a right angle or turned diagonally.

LIKED: Good, original quality artwork. Simplicity.

DISLIKED: Not much, but I would like to see SKG come out with a full set of similar tilesets so that we can have multiple taverns for use.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
This is exactly what it says, a small taven. Compared to Taverns Vol 1 it has more detail with the rugs and round pillars. The tarvern is 45x35 feet at its widest and irregulary shaped.

LIKED: Its a little smaller than the ones you could make with four tiles from Taverns Vol 1, the Outdoor setting, and the fact it all fits on two pages saves on paper and ink.

DISLIKED: Nothing.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This is quite a small set with limited use, though it is well executed. The Inn is a single room, single floor building.

LIKED: Details are very nice. The Inn has a lot of character

DISLIKED: No really a complaint, but I'd like to see more variation on the theme - other tiles that could be added to these to create different Inns or expand the existing one

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Satisfied
Skeleton Key has a fantastic line of products. And they just keep adding to it! Here's an artist who really enjoys his work and it shows in the level of detail. Tavern in the woods is a perfect little map for staging a tavern brawl or bandit attack (both of which have planned for my group). Like to see more along these lines, like a stable, warehouse, inn, stores, marketplace, etc (although I'm sure that's all planned). Keep up the great work guys!

LIKED: Good value and great detail.

DISLIKED: Size. I would have liked it to be bigger but that's not realy a gripe. I was looking for something a little larger but this is easily adaptable.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Very neat two tile Tavern. While you can only use them in one configuration, those tiles fit in neatly with the other Outdoor Tiles from Skeletonkeygames

LIKED: Cost effective

DISLIKED: Nothing

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I like these small useful little maps over the big 20 tiles plus E-adventure sets. However, there does seem to be some bits missing like a Bar and one of the centre support posts seems to cut through one of the tables and resting on the floor rug. I hope that this will be corrected anf updated.

LIKED: Useful small map and outstanding artwork.

DISLIKED: Missing Tavern parts and errors.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Tavern in the Woods has several advantages over the first Edventure Maps product, Danger in the Mists. It has much greater reusability (PCs are visiting taverns all the time), and the tiles blend seamlessly with the e-Adventure wilderness tiles. As with all SKG tile products, the artwork is rich and beautiful. However, all is not completely well at the Tavern in the Woods. I would not really want to be the proprietor of this establishment. For one thing, the tap?I'm assuming that's what the barrels in the "southeast" corner are?is too easily accessible to all and sundry, as is the cash box above the tap. Moreover, the place has no interior storage (even the extra barrels of drink are stored outside, too easily stolen), so there's nowhere to put a mop, broom, and bucket?and any cooking to be done would have to be done over the fires in the hearths, as there is no kitchen. There doesn't seem to be any obvious water source (a well would have been useful), so water has to be hauled in by barrels, I guess. There is also no provision for any sort of cellar or second floor. These limitations probably won't stop me from using the tavern, but hopefully such oversights won't be as evident when SKG releases their long-awaited fantasy urban tiles.

LIKED: The excellence of the artwork, and compatibility with e-Adventure Tiles.

DISLIKED: Design oversights (lack of storage space, water supply, etc.).

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
