I was hoping to be able to create characters and have a reference to the rules a player needs to know. The book only gets part way there. I can't properly create a character because there are numerous references back to the The One Ring RPG book and there isn't a good/full section on the rules the player needs to understand to play. On the flip side, the book is really nice looking and the art is beautiful. The content that is provided is easy to understand and a pleasant read.
However, if you want a "players guide" you will be dissapointed like me.
