My ten year old daughter and I enjoy this very much. One of our favorite games is Return of the Heroes. When we want a break from that or your typical dungeon crawler Mystic Adventurers and expansions fit the bill. Production quality and art is not the greatest but the game play is good and I usually pimp out my pnp games anyway. I rate it a 4 out of 5.

This little game just looked so darn interesting I couldnt resist grabbing it up. The art is great. The presentation of everything is super. I cant quite put my finger on it but it seems the tiles are missing something or maybe more colorful, not sure what it is.
Game play is smooth and easy to grasp but yet still enough options to make you think about a strategy. I play this one with my 8 year old daughter. I have to help her with a rule here and there but overall she can grasp it just fine. She hasnt beaten me yet but Im sure she will. She always does.
Excellent buy, great fun! I can play this with my gaming group and family alike. Its a hit either way!
I will be buying the printed version to upon release! With the credit you get from buying the PDF it makes it an awesome deal for hours of Bashing Those Pesky Humans!

Funny you say that, our Artist playtests all the time with his 9 year old son!
As for the rooms, did you have the most recent rooms? There was a major upgrade released after the initial release here that HUGELY improves the rooms.
Thanks for the feedback. Look for another upgrade soon that speeds up play a bit.

I have only gotten to bring this one out a few times with the group but it is one of our favorites if we feel like doin an all nighter. We have designed a huge campaign and run battles off and on when we bring this one out. Well worth the money. Printing this one out with all the small buttons is a bit of a chore though. I wish I would have gotten the actually metal buttons. Game play is a good intermediate level and we were able to hit the ground running after about an hour of probing. Alot to offer with this one if this is you genre. ...

I bought this game for my daughter and I to play together. I have been attempting to introduce her into the board/card game world I love so much and get her off the computer a bit. Boom. Big success. We absolutely love this game. It is easy enough for her, she is 8, to understand how and what she is trying to do. At the same time there is plenty of strategy/decisions to think about. I love the spell creation concept. Easy to expand your own ideas to the game. Great fun. I actually beat her ONCE..hehe..... ...

Wow Im not really sure what to say about this game. It is a piece of worth fer shure. Im not sure what kind of person it takes to design something like this but Im pretty sure its not someone I want my daughters to date. Game play was fun, although a bit twisted. Seeing the wives face when I brought it out to play for my gaming buddies was priceless. Getting brought into the plant managers office with my supervisor and HR manager to write me up for printing this game at work and forgetting it on the printer....well not so fun.

I was so impressed with this game. The right level of strategy and complexity but not overloaded to the point of slowing the game down.
Game play still flows nicely with an occasional glance back at a rule now and then. The artwork is top-notch. Very engrossing story, I really felt connected to this while playing. Although I usually get pummeled. My only problem with this game is I cant find enough people to play....
I think my favorite non-collectable card game to date.

LOL, What else remains to be said. This game is an utter blast. It helps to have some rowdy friends to play with. With the group I play with this is always a favorite when we all get a bit would up. Cleverly designed and packed with laughs. I think I peed my pants twice. Replay vailue is very high in IMO. This game has not lost its flavor yet!

I think with some more advanced rules/features this could be a fun game. The title does give you a heads up though. It is an impulse or filler game while waiting for the rest of the gaming group to arrive.

This is the kind of game I love. Easy but still enough rules to keep you engaged. I have only had the oppurtunity to play it a handful of times as everyone is always to busy with their PS3's...sigh. Worth buying, working on a solitaire method...
