A wonderful set of miniatures. Graham puts some great computer magic on these miniatures to really bring them to life. Certainly more detailed than pre-painted plastic minis and a lot lighter too! This work is one of the reasons I am happy to include Graham's work in The Divine Order: Jute - Faith of Creation.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Good selection. I like the minotaur best.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Nothing.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Im going to preface this by saying that I am not a huge fan of the SIMs graphics or computer generated artwork. As a result, this is not a set that will get much use by me or my players.

That being said, some of the detail is nice, and it is good to see trolls and ogres being done with a non-D&D look to them.

The lizardmen could have been a bit more detailed or maybe better defined, and the characters look a little too well lit, but thats part of what I normally dislike about this sort of artwork anyway. So, take that into consideration.

However, if you like this sort of WOW artwork, the pieces do have that feel to them and would look good in a RPG based on a video game, like WOW or Diablo.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Not too costly.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Not a big fan of computer graphic art. The computer generated approach to figure flats works really well, some of the images seem to print off with some dirt or noise around them that isn't there on the screen but that might just be my printer and it just plain isn't going to get noticed unless you are looking at them up close and personal. They look great on the gaming table. This is good quality stuff at very reasonable prices. And the folks that do them seem genuinely very happy to recieve ideas for future sets.

Sadly I think a lot of the monsters in here look a bit pap, especially not liking the bright green goblins and the minotaur just doesn't look right to me. The other big figures in the set are however very good indeed - worth buying just for them I'd say.

edit

Yes indeed the publisher has corrected the mentioned items and they look much better now and the set is much improved for it.

edit<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Choice of what style of flat to print and make is nice, also the fact that there is advice on the company website, and in included in the later pdf's, on creating your own sheets using their images to build vrtual armies of any given figure or combination of, or just making them bigger and smaller.

edit

The fact that the publisher was excellent about listening to feedback and making changes, what more can you ask for?

edit<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The absolute worst thing about these is being less than rpgnow's minimum order price to not get a surcharge so I was forced to buy more things I wanted ; )<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br><BR>[THIS REVIEW WAS EDITED]<BR>

Thanks for the comments. It should be noted that i have now updated this set and replaced the "bright green goblins" and re-posed the minotaur. I hope that this revision improves the set.
