I am having a lot of fun creating new magic weapons using this extension.It makes it really easy to add weapon damage line special features .I even made some random tables for myself to make better use of all the weapon damage features.

Buy if interested in Solo gaming.Reading made me want to try out the dice mechanics before I had even finished the book , definately going to use the Combat/Challenge system in some way in my own Solo games.I do like all of Nordic Weasel's games that I have bought,great company that caters well to the solo rpg market.

Art is really old school black and white,sets a great tone where in combination with the text really makes me want to run a game.Nice job.

Great hexcrawl supplement.
Any chance of a hyperlinked version to make it easier to move around the pdf?Also an index would be cool as well.
Just love all of your solo modules for use with Scrawl,it is a fabulous system that is evolving.

Many thanks for your great review and your excellent idea. I will include hyperlinks in SCRAWL. The grand plan is to put all the modules into one big volume and hyperlink that. Cool little book,thought it might be fun to give players another reason to kill monsters and I was right.Recommend.Lots of interesting little tidbits of usefulness for monster parts.Maybe make a part 2 with more mundane monsters like the Kobold,must admit I was looking forward to seeing him here.

Great little OSR game,nice combination of brevity,layout and art.
The price was a good incentive also.
Buy this if interested in OD&D , The Black Hack , BOL , Crypts & Things or Swords and Six Siders .Was very impressed with my purchase.
Other books by this author are great too,I have a few in both Print and Pdf and when I saw this new book I knew I had to buy it and I was very happy I did.
Definately recommend.

I love this series,reminds me of the early fun zany titles of the 80s that the OSR simulates.Great stuff,aiming to buy all of the books.

Great book and series.Brings back fond memories of other similar history books of D&D that I have enjoyed.Please release other books in series in PDF format.PS all of your books look interesting.

Hi there Sean, thanks much for the read and the review! I'm glad you're enjoying the series so far. I'm going to be creating deluxe versions of Books 3, 4, and 5 in PDF later this year. The formatting and images and such take a while, but I think the end results are worth it. I'm hoping to have Book 3 completed in the spring. :) Best, Kent |
