It never occurred to me that a wizard would want to be a mason! Nice idea. The new spells are nicely spread out over the levels. Also, the addition of new metamagic feats for walls is a nice touch.

LIKED: The new wall spells are perfect for dropping on a party of unsuspecting players...

DISLIKED: Some of the walls don't feel like belong in their stated levels, especially the high-level ones. But it's hard to measure them I guess.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Like other books in this series I am pleased. Short, concise, and to the point. It is a great bargain.

LIKED: My favorite thing is how easily this can be cross-ported to other games. I originally got it to b eused in DnD - but the entire series can be easily used alongside other intertesting tomes in the Cthulu system.

DISLIKED: I would be okay with less crunch - sometimes the extras seem a bit forced.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
Not only a spellbook with a physical description and many new and interesting Wall spells, but also includes new feats (with a mechanic to learn them) and some interesting locales and background. There's a lot of information for the page count.

DISLIKED: The wall of hellwasps refers to a hellwasp swarm, but includes neither the effect of the swarm nor the original location where the swrm can be found. I'm not sure that either wall of hellwasps or wall of nightmares should be 9th level. They are too easily countered.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
