A good small community that could be located on the frontier of some kingdom. Nice plot hooks and a good starting point for players. Has two different maps, 1 for the pc's and 1 for the gm that is numbered with identification. This will come in handy when iIneed to come up with a quick town for my players.

Although it's short, I'm really happy with this book. There's a lot of detail packed into these pages. The people in town have personalities instead of stat blocks, and are well described right down to thier spouses and kids. The businesses are also well described, and they "make sense" with the setting. It's also noted which businesses are most dependant on outside trade and which are more community specific, and I found that helpful in preparing possible side adventures. In short, Meadowneste is the perfect layover village to add to your game.
