A well written adventure with a great amount of roleplaying a much less fighting than most AL mods are focused on. The flow and build up is great, sadly D&D 5e doesn't have a good "courtier" system otherwise the ending moral dilemma part would be so much better to play out.

Played it once and DMed it multiple times. Never had anyone complain it wasn't interesting.

Thank god for this. This is an awesome finale to Season 5's Tier 1 adventures, in my opinion the best storyline and adventures in Season 5.

We did a "mini EPIC" with this and all 5 tables including a couple of new players really enjoyed this.

Playtested this and submitted the review that the mod was way too easy... sure there was a slight change and improvement but no where near sufficient... still way too easy for a Tier 3

The Tier 3 and Tier 4 mods in Season 5 have been so disappointing.

*Amazing cert files by the way... 3 same item... 3 different rarities.

A Vampire, 2 vampire spawn and a diviner (This is the suggestion for very strong) is not going to scratch a Tier 3 party.

Ran it with 3 times and played it once myself. None of my players enjoyed it... felt like there were too many plot holes. Things just didn't really connect together.

Ran it with 4 different groups so far, everyone really enjoyed this. Would love to experience how the author would have ran it himself!

Great adventure with a very good flow and balance between fights, roleplaying, and interesting exploration. Nice addition in the end to tie to Season 4.

Soooooo many editing problems, so many errors, many skill checks for no reason. Here, make a skill check to understand what this runes say.... mod doesn't provide what the mod says.

Thieves' tool or Dispel Magic to open this door. So if the TIER 1 party has no rogue etc, you just stare at the door until a random Tier 2 character walks by with Dispel magic.

When you need half a page of "unofficial errata", you should know your mod has a problem.

The story behind it is good and overall there is minimal editing problems.

The funny thing about this mod is that DDAL5-6 and DDAL 5-7 is suppose to be one single mod, split into two, and written by two different person. DDAL5-7 is so horribly written, editted, etc it makes it really hard to enjoy DDAL5-6 when it is played together.

This is a fairly fun adventure. Or it might just be because 4-1 and 4-3 were so horrible that my expectations has dropped significantly.

Nonetheless the hook to the adventure is so much better. The final boss fight is a little too easy in my opinion, and the manor shouldbe a little more deadly to bring the crippy and horror feeling.

I personally added a little twist to force the adventure forward after the first part because some parties I've DMed for aren't too bothered about what happened. [SPOILERS]

So the initial hooks is good enough. A simple missing person and someone offers you some gold to check out the path the missing person took. Things happen you meet Glovia the main healer of the village who you wll later find to be the main villain.

I've noticed some groups aren't bother by Glovia kidnapping Sorina to bring Isabella back to life.

There is two way I use to solve this. During their vision, make Isabella be friend one of the character (remove the spectacles) and give that character more information that Glovia is up to no good. However is has backfired before, the character not actually believes Isabella can come back to life and wants it to happen.

The other way is to make one of the character get love stuck by Sorina. So when she is kidnapped that adventure will convince everyone else to march towards the manor.

DDAL 4-1 was horrible, even after the update. DDAL 4-2 was great but DDAL 4-3 is disappointing to say the least.

The adventure hook is terrible, is assume that just because the players see a bunny they will run after it. And if the players do not run after the bunny? You DM magic them towards the bunny. [You over hear a rumour and are expected to pursue that rumour all the way to Middle Earth and back. Its like Fordo going on a journey to Middle Earth because he heard someone was bringing something there so he went on the journey just to see if the rumours were true]

In order for you to run DDAL 4-3 properly, you will have to read at least DDAL 4-4 and DDAL 4-5. Otherwise things just do not make a lot of sense and you probably do not want to jump into conclusion yourself because the adventure for 4-4 and 4-5 is already released anyway.

Another aspect of this adventure that I really do not like is the fact that it does not encourage roleplaying at all. Not the DM and not the players. There is little to no roleplay encounters and little to no reward for roleplaying.

Poorly editted adventure. Even for Adventurer's League standard the editting is poor. Similar to Curse of Strahd, Suits of the Mists relies heavily on the DM to put the atmosphere into the game which is the only thing Suits of the Mists has. Beyond the horror armosphere, the adventure is absolutely boring. I would say it is worst than Harried of Hillsfar.

Dungeons on Demand: Volume Two

My group have played several of his adventures. One of my friend brought Vol 1 of his Dungeon on Demand and I used it during a hombrew game.

His modules are highly details, provides a lot more than just basic boring adventure hook that you see in many other adventures out there. The way he provide the documents is also extremely user friendly!

Printer friendly versions, maps, player maps and DM maps separated, tables are provided in Microsoft Excel, Open Office and just XML format etc. Just extremely thoughful when he provides the documents.

I've supported his kickstarter and brought all 3 dungeons on demand even though I already have V1 from a friend but this guy deserves the support. As a DM that runs a lot of Adventurer's League Expeditions, his adventures are much more organized.

Very excited to start running his V2 and V3 adventures.
