This is one of the first AL modules I played and it was so much fun as a player that I decided to buy it so I could run it for others. It's a great intro to D&D and has a lot of unique elements that make it a memorable adventure. :)

Honestly, this is one of the best adventures to pick up if you want to teach people how to play D&D. I've run these adventures several times each, mostly for folks new to the game, though some veterans were thrown in them, and they provide ample opportunity to showcase different elements of 5e gameplay. Would definitely suggest picking it up even if you aren't into Adventurer's League.

This book is not only a great supplement for Call of Cthulhu, but also an incredibly informative book with regards to history I never learned. The character creation section is robust and handy for creating dynamic characters. The Storytelling section is fantastic, addressing a lot of concerns which players/keepers may or may not voice about how to properly use the information presented.

Not only is this book filled to the brim with information, but the associated handouts are well done and always appreciated as a Keeper.
