What I've gotten so far from Datastream, I've been happy with. It has been basically what I've expected. I calculated that the emails coming in would have to be worth on average 12.5 cent each, assuming the deckplans were worth $2.50 each. As of today I have received 17 emails. So I ask myself, has the content that I've gotten so far worth $2.13? I can only answer yes.
Some of the emails are less than the average, but others are worth more. If after the end of the month I feel like I've gotten my $5 worth, then I'm happy. I feel they have gotten better the more that I have received.
I've bought a LOT of PDFs. Many were not worth the $5 I paid for them. Some have been worth MUCH more than the $1.85 I paid for those.
Have I been blown away so far? No. Have I been thoroughly dissapointed? No. Things have been about what I've expected so far, but to me they are getting better.
There was one thing I hadn't expected though: The author asking for subscriber input. Phil Reed answers questions and encourages us to tell him more of what we want to see. Check out his feedback and questions at http://www.d20projects.com/
My style of gamemastering is that I want to spend my time on creating stories and making my players have fun. I don't have time to do everything, so things like Datastream fill in the gaps for me.

LIKED: Variety of emails. There has been everything from robots, to cyberware, to opponets, to mecha components. And we haven't even seen the deck plans yet.
Feedback from the author.

DISLIKED: Nothing yet.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
