Disclaimer: I won this mod in a raffle on Rob's 5 Year anniversary Twitch stream.
One of the features of Fantasy Grounds (FG) 5th Ed D&D ruleset is the ability to apply conditions and effects to characters. These are things like prone, slept, rolling with adv/disadv on a save, getting bonus to damage, etc. that can be applied to the PC/NPC that help in the automated aspects programmed into the ruleset. So if I had a favored enemy bonus on attacks, an effect would apply that bonus to my attack roll for me. It's a great feature.
However, there's a dark side to it. Much of what can be applied as a condition or effect is situational and is not natively programmed into the ruleset. But you can make your own. And that's what this mod is; it's customized condition and effect entries that can be applied to a PC/NPC. It's a whole lot of them. A glorious amount of them. So many that you could probably find just about any condition/effect that can be applied.
I'm not an FG guru. I'm still learning it. But this mod creates entries in Effects that allows me to drag & drop a condition/effect to an entity in the Combat Tracker. From what I've tested out so far, it works perfectly.
I wasn't able to drag an entry onto a character sheet while customizing an item action but I was able to find what I wanted to do and copy the formula into it. I'm not sure if this is how FG works or if I'm just not aware of something. But just having the script available to copy makes a world of difference when you're customizing the character sheet.
I highly recommend this module. It's a big time saver and can provide insight on effect creation. I was extremely fortunate to win this. But even if I didn't, this would be something I would buy.
