The art is very good, and makes you want to jump into a fantastical adventure. You can print as many tiles as you want tso there really is almost no limit to the size of dungeons you can make, though I find 4-9 tiles is a reasonable size for a level. I had these printed out as stickers and mounted on Sintra Board; these tiles are very reusable and you can do a random dungeon approach or use them for a dungeon when the players go off map.

The maps are awesome, but for some reason 10x10 sections are devided into 10x6(!) "halves" in the pdf for printing, so you literally have to spend 20% more ink...

Hey. Thanks for the review - we're happy you like the maps. The pdf pages have an overlap because some of our customers glue the pieces together using the overlap, and it's easier for someone to remove the overlap than it is for them to add it. We do include the full jpegs as well though so you can prepare the files for printing in a way that best works for you. Sorry that you feel you've wasted some ink, but hopefully you'll have fun adventures with the tiles

So often it seems that Heroic Maps comes up with exactly what I need for my game. I have to run a few games over at a friends house and was wondering what dungeon tiles to take along that I could get maximum use out of, with minimal numbers of tiles I would have to take with me, along with rule books, dice and miniatures, my dungeon masters 'load out'. A set of geomorphic dungeon tiles is perfect for the travelling DM, as they can be used over and over again, in any number of combinations, and this set has a design that is both aesthetically engaging, and packed full of strategic possibilities. With the combination of larger chambers, winding corridors and multiple routes that can be taken, it is an easy matter to set up wandering monster encounters, ambushes, rotating dungeon section puzzles, and, with the addition of stairwells, multi-level dungeon crawls that can blend seamlessly into any of the other dungeon sets (such as the abandoned Dwarven mine, or modular ancient dungeon set, with just a few more tiles included in the DM's travelling back pack). The level of detail, colour pallet and scale is a perfect match for the average gaming miniature, and the design makes for an excellent crafting challenge, for those who want to enhance the 3D aspect by mounting the walls on cardboard or foam core cutouts, for a 2.5D representative feel.
