My players recently traveled to a coastal town, and I was struggling at first to flesh out what kind of adventures, monsters, and characters they would find there. Then I stumbled across this fantastic Tidal Bestiary! It's a small supplement that packs a HUGE punch: imaginative creatures with concise descriptions and ecology alongside beautifully illustrations. This supplement really inspired me to build fantastic adventures around these creatures and helped me to flesh out the town, its residents, and the coastal ecosystem. I highly recommend everyone print out a copy to tuck inside their Monster Manual.
