I'd kick this up to five stars if there was some additonal editing for clarity, but this is a pretty amazing supplement, especially considering you get it for free.

If you have a copy of The Black Hack, this has everything you need to jump right into space operatic adventuring, focusing mainly on starships, though there's plenty of other material as well. Aside from the starship rules, I particularly like the Flavor (FLV) stat, which you may have to roll instead of CHA when dealing with aliens, particularly ones that haven't seen your species before. The implication is that if you fail a FLV check, you look delicious. I'm also particuarly amused by the Tikeet, "a gestalt organism of small wood eating grubs that get about in artisanal mechanical hives," if only because I'm a huge fan of aliens that are, in essence, a swarm of bugs, ever since I played a character who could dissolve into his body weight in spiders. :)
