Let me tell you about Grimoire.
Grimoire is THE wizarding game. Who wants to waste time playing a muscled barbarian or a sneaky rogue when you can control THE COSMOS ITSELF?! They do away with notions of "class balance" and embrace all that is wizardy including, but not limited to, wands, robes, and most importantly a large lexicon of WORDS OF POWER.
A brief example of a game I ran in which the players where first-year students in a wizarding academy. After agreeing to play a game of "catch" with a troll one player had a tree thrown at him and, thinking quickly, took out his wand to cast a spell that would turn the tree to ash before it crushed him! Unfortunately he mixed up the grammatical order of his words of power, specifically the use of the word for "long range". This lead to his spell not going off until the tree was in physical contact with his wand which caused it to burst into flames AND crush him, bursting him into flames.
Thus began the school year and many, many similar incidents. 10/10 wizarding points.
