My players loved this adventure for the complexity of the relationship between the wizard and the apprentice. Some sided with the wizard, others sided with the apprentice, and others thought they both failed to appreciate how great their life was!

I loved how easily I could incorporate it as a side trek when not all of the PCs were available to play our main campaign storyline.

I just finished running the horror-themed Cult of the Gol'Goroth. My players had a blast! The horror aspects are beautifully reminiscent of such works as Stephen King's Dark Tower series, particularly the disgusting bits. Also, the new Bestiary is particularly good. I expect to use several of these beyond the Gol’Goroth.
