Disposable Heroes American Revolution Statix 1

There is little out there like it, but I was disappointed that there were no backs to these figures. The art has "character" and the figures work well in a pinch, but they are lacking backs and this makes me use them less than I would if they were complete. I just didn't feel like I got the best deal for my money and so I splurged on buying metal figures from the era for my game.

This is a fun and well realised series of paper minis. The art is whimsical and perfect for the subject matter. I like the creative poses and uses of props/costumes. Very well done. One major gripe is the white outline. I simply dropped them into Photoshop and filled the white in black and used some One Monk bases. Much improved. I would suggest a black outline in the future. If there was a black outline the figures would get a 5 star rating.

Scarecrows and Jack-O-Lanterns

This set is fun! I've used the scarecrows for everything from modern horror, superheroes and steampunk fantasy. Are they just scarecrows, or something more sinister? Keep em guessing, I always say. Great work, just the right amount of menace and fun.

This is really one of my favourite One Monk sets. I really like the 2.5D territory that is entered here. The Donkey cart has been used in many of my games, everything from a WW2 battle to a fantasy village and a steampunk city. Fantastic work all around. I'd love to see more vehicles by this company.
