This is my go to first adventure for new players as an introductory to D&D. Just enough encounters to get their feet wet with adventuring. I can stop and explain why I am doing the things I do as DM as well as add skill checks within areas of the adventure. I added a drunk guy coming out of inn with dagger. When adventurers are sleeping I added a rat nibbling at their ears or toes and checking to see if they awake by perception check. Small damage if bitten, but awakes and find perhaps a potion of healing somewhere you see fit immediately after. The ending is a bit large for level one. I suggest bringing in manes first then when one dies, bring in warlock. Don't bombard your players all at once. Make sure you add enough items for healing like a scroll or potion beforehand when searching house......just in case. You do not want players getting upset after first introduction. Make it fun and add skill checks when needed.

This was a great campaign for the start of a larger one.

This is a good adventure. Well written and readable, with a very inventive trap and a satisfitying conclusion. It is also incredibly easy to slot into any setting!

My only critisism is with the white dove used to keep the players on track. It is a bit on the nose but is also easily left out.

The party that im running through this is loving the whole campaing. Such a fun campaing one of my players found out a major mystry for the game after certain events happend and he loved it haha.

I would highly recemmend this Adventure to everyone to try.

It can be ran easily in 2 hours, 4 if you add some padding to it and throw in an extra encounter. The plot is excellent. The end is a great twist if DMed right. Your players should enjoy the role-play aspect of the module.

This is a very good side quest with a chilling ending if DMs run it right. I wish I had been able to play this instead of running it! It was very fun to run though. Both of my groups really enjoyed it.

I ran this last Saturday and everyone had a great time. The story is good and the encounters were cool. The warlock has a very nifty trap waiting his basement and my group loved it even though they fell for it. Hook, line and sinker.

This was a great little adventure for my group. I ran it as an interval between Icewind Dale and Luskan for a little filler between adventures. My group absolutely loved it! The best part is when they had to question baddie, and they were couldn't figure out why he was acting so weird.

I needed some good "BUY TIME" material since my main storyline needed a little more work. This was a great quest to plug in without commiting the group to a major plotline. Great prompts for party interaction and disussion as well.

A nice little side quest. Very intriguing plot as the players get caught up in a year old murder mystery involving a warlock and a dead couple, who were engaged to be married. Better than most AL adventures for sure!

This is a great adventure. I will be running this soon. Easily fits into any campaign including curse of Strahd. Nice emotional story and one of the best traps i have seen.
