Okay I admit it. I have a weakness for the evil planar creatures. So this volume's coverage of fiends and other creatures from below are a welcome addition to my stable of monsters. My players will hate me soon enough. Thank you.

LIKED: FIENDS!!!!

DISLIKED: Nothing comes right out and says "this is bad" to me.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Okay I have a weakness for the Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass stories, too. This comapny seems to be coming along well with new and revised monster concepts. There are two monsters that when I looked at the picture reminded me of the Ghostbusters cartoon. The one based off the movie, not the other one by Filmation.

LIKED: Alice in Wonderland monsters and the Ghostbuster monsters

DISLIKED: The pulp based monsters. Well, maybe I could use them somehow too.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Somehow a newsvan starship just hits me as wrong. Therefore it must be perfect for a sci-fi setting! I can imagine the adventurers getting done with helping so-and-so civilization out of a jam and here comes the Cronkite to cover the cleanup. Nice job!

LIKED: The name, man. The name! It makes SENSE! Oh, yeah the price.

DISLIKED: The need to have other tilesets to truly use the product. But I knew that buying it.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
A nice idea for fighter craft that requires more than just one pilot. I can see the players flying around the cosmos getting into trouble everywhere.

LIKED: The ideas and plot hooks.

DISLIKED: For this price? What's not to like?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Another fighter craft like vehicle. A good change for a different culture's viewpoint. I read the name and thought it would be from an aquatic planet.

LIKED: Good ideas and plot hooks.

DISLIKED: For this price? The cover says it all. It is HUGE! A friegther is always handy to get into trouble with space pirates. The entire length of the ship makes for a great setting to have hand to hand combat in the bowels of the starship!

LIKED: Good ideas and plot hooks.

DISLIKED: For this price? Small one man craft are a staple of all space operas. With this product you can run dogfights between these fighter craft. S foils in attack position, oh wait. You can't really do that with these ships.

LIKED: Good ideas and plot hooks.

DISLIKED: For this price? Just like the first two volumes, these will aid a DM in coming up with ways to truly make their players think before they do something. After all who wants to be on the wrong end of a law they didn't know about? Wait a sec. That sounds like some states I've been to....

LIKED: Each law has a probable cause as to why the law exisits.

DISLIKED: What's not to like?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Like the previous volumes, each fantasy holiday will aid a DM/GM flesh out a fantasy calendar to make it more realistic. Have fun! Get crazy! For thoe DMs/GMs who are tormented by the bard-like character or wizard who just has to know what is in the library and won't take "books" as an answer. Each book listed has a short description of what it's about and should make the character in question feel like they have found something unique! At the beginning there is a listing of the book in question, what race or culture the book came from and the gold value of the book. There is also a way to determine the books randomly.

LIKED: The list of the books first and the description following the list.

DISLIKED: Not so much a dislike as a possible future idea. Perhaps a table to determine which PDF to use would be handy in later versions

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
For those DMs/GMs who are tired of players asking "how much gold is there in the treasure?" this prduct will inspire you to let them find something new. Whether you are creating a new campaign or just want to tweak a current one, this product will show you different types of currency that is very usable. Each coin type has a gold piece equivalent and the race that would have minted it. Following the coins are the descriptions of the coins. Tis is very handy when you need to describe the coin found so the players think it's something of worth. Very useful to the harried DM/GM.

LIKED: The Item listing is first so you can decide what to have appear and the descriptions following. This makes a very clean layout.

DISLIKED: I can't think of anything.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
To be honest, I got this product just for the Platypus. Aside from that I found this product similar to others like it. A listing of each monster, the stats necessary to use it in a D20 campaign, and the description and picture. Interesting monsters, but nothing really stand out from the crowd.

LIKED: The Platypus.

DISLIKED: I don't like Landscape pages. Sure this may save on pages, but I prefer portrait when it comes to printing. It stays in my notebook sleeve easier and I don't have to turn my notebook sideways to read the entry.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Due to public response, the landscape format has been abandoned in favor of a user-friendly portrait format. |

Okay, here's the situation. Your adventure has granted the players a HUGE sum of treaure following the slaying of some grand monster. What are you going to do to remove that excess wealth that the players have wthout the player wanting to lynch you. Here's your answer. With oppressive taxes and tarrifs, you can remove some of the unneeded treasure while making the players feel like they are part of the campaign world and not above it. Abuse with mayhem, my fellow DMs/GMs! Use liberally and often!

LIKED: Each tax and tarriff has all the pertinent information on how to use the various tax and tarrifs and included the when they occur part that usually foils most DMs/GMs. My favorite has to be the "Arm and Leg tax". Pick it up and you'll see what I mean!

DISLIKED: I can't think of anything.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
If you need to tweak your campaign to make it different from the standard FRPG, this might give you a hint of what to do. Though there is no game mechanics for these bloodlines, that doesn't mean it is useless. Think of these bloodlines as templates for the trolls in the campaign. Just that there is no true deviation from the standard trolls, just a different way to have trolls pop up where the players will never expect them. Want a troll in a cold climate, use the standard troll entry and the Frost Troll bloodline to describe the troll to your players. They'll think it's a new monster and not the same trolls they have beaten on sooo many occasions.

LIKED: Each description is well thought out and useful.

DISLIKED: Not like? What does this mean?

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
