This is a useful addition for anyone running a game in the Waterdeep city.

As a general city sourcebook it can function as a resource for DMs to pull out ideas, NPCs and encounters. I enjoyed the material on Tarot cards. It doesn't have anything specifically that inspired me to add to my own game. I will keep reading to get more value out of this book.

The book is nealty laid out and easy to read. Its a high quality product with poential but it may not deliver much value to your city game. Its worth a look.

This is a really nice DM setting guide that could easily be used as the basis for the creation of an entire campaign! Even if you aren't interested in using Waterdeep in your campaign it is very easy to pull some of the wards, NPCs or other tidbits from this guide to use in any homebrew setting. I especially liked the addition of links to other resources and generators for helping the DM! I thought this was definitely worrth the money and highly recommend the companion materials to this guide as well.
