Fantastic gaming aid for generating NPCs, particularly Ordinaries. Great product overall. A must-have for d20 Modern GMs and a useful tool for d20 Modern publishers. <br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: User-friendly interface---the NPC stats are displayed at the top of page as you create them and they're already in standardized form, so you can cut and paste them with no hassle. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Point builds being given as totals--I like to "see my work" especially with skills (+1 ranks, +2 Dex, +2 Nimble = Total +5). Not really a problem with NPCs, but if I were to make a PC, it's information I'd want (of course, this is an NPC generator. . .). Also, the skill generator can be aggravating, especially when building higher level characters. If you make a mistake and put in too many points a "FAILED" error comes up, and you have to start all over again. It could use a counter that subtracts the points as you place them. As is, just make sure to attempt a save every 10 points or so. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Time saving and much less of a chore than thumbing for hours through the book when generating a character. It also provides a nice system of checks and balances to insure requirements for the class and feats are met. <br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Easy to use and helps to catch errors.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Access to the site was sporadic and I needed to "save as I went" after having 4 or 5 characters lost due to access drops. This may just have been due to updates or something butmake sure you save as you go, just in case!<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

Definately good for quickly making pcs and npcs, but could use some additions and tweaking.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Ease of use, relative range of options in classes and feats.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: No equipment generation, no random generation of npcs, could use a reference of what a given feat actually does or where it is located, because having to hunt through my hard copies referencing feats is troublesome. As a publisher this has been hugely useful as a means to generating stat blocks for our products quickly, and with little fuss.

We used this originally as a free (ordinary npc's) only option and liked it so much we upgraded.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: The ease of use and hours saved making up NPC's<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The is little not to like, the only grip I have is I sometimes forget what the pre-reqs are for a feats or talent and select it out of turn.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

This is a brilliant product in some ways, and a lame one in others. I'm really torn between love and hate here.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Generating characters is quick and step-by-step, the interface works well, and it supports all RPGObjects' products. Above all, the myriad options are well calculated and taken care of, so the finished character output is correct. This can't be said of Code Monkey's e-tools, for example. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: That it's purely a one-shot, npc generating program. If I could have used it to track the progression of my gaming group's characters, and their foes as well, this product would have been unbeatable. Making characters takes time, and it's utterly annoying to have that effort cancelled when I log off. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

Brilliant tool--especially for publishers working in d20 Modern. Well worth the access fee.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: The ease of use, the speed.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Would love to see more Open Content material from other publishers added as options. Right now the generator uses the SRD, and a few RPGObjects producs as source.
