This one was a shade disappointing, which is too bad, because I absolutely love the series. I read the blurb about Lingering Spell Energy, and my imagination ran wild with ideas... but the supplement itself didn't really do much to feed into those thoughts. It more or less plugged in some game mechanics for dealing with the phenomenon. Which is OK, but it wasn't as cool as I had hoped. <br><br><b>LIKED</b>: As always, these guys do superior editing, presentation, and have a lot of quality packed into a nice space. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: For such an original subject, the treatment of it felt a bit mundane. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

This isn't quite what I thought it would be, but has turned out to be quite interesting anyway, it gave me some great ideas for an entirely new campaign. Well written!<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Quick and too the point, just enough to get your hands on with a lot of room to expand.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: It wasn't quite about what I thought it was (I was approaching it more from a trap direction, what happens when you wander into a room where a spell was recently cast) but really that's my own damn fault :)<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

This is a great idea that would have been better had it been expanded I think. Not too useable in its present form.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: I love the idea of this concept. An interesting thing to use when you need to quirk your campaign just a little. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.
