Buy it mostly for the artwork.

This set features good artwork that will make for a decent looking screen. However there are lots of setting-specific references that should be and could be part of this set.

The tables and such chosen for this set of inserts seem like they were chosen by someone who knows the game very well indeed and only needs a bit of privacy, not quick reference to setting specific details. I needed to make my own inserts to go with this set.

Tour of Darkness is filled with groovy potential, and like some of the best classic horror RPG settings, the GM can use a hand getting the flavour-rich environment details right.

Very superior to the EverNight screen. Most of the tables are relevant in a game session and the graphics are less intrusive.

LIKED: Landscape format allows me to conceal a larger amount of table space (for the same number of panes) while maintaining my ability to see the tabletop and my players.

DISLIKED: Some tables which are less-useful in-game on same page as some which are extremely useful in-game. Unable to disable background graphics for printing.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
You get two pieces of art to decorate the outside of your screen (one of which is depicted here on RPGNow & the other is the front cover of the book), one sheet of Promotions/Awards info & standard gear weights, another covering air and artillery support, one with common weapons for both sides of the conflict, a blank sheet, and one sheet with a timeline, small map and Sanity Recovery table.

LIKED: i love having a custom screen for each campaign setting. Having air and artillery support info on there is perfect since you never know when the PCs are going to call for arty. Key to screen customization is good artwork to capture the feel of the setting, and what's provided is good ideal.

DISLIKED: i would've liked another piece of art to fill in the outside of my screen with and another sheet with the stats of the most common enemies. The sheet with the timeline and the Sanity Recovery really feels like an after thought to pad the product, because nothing on that sheet is even remotely useful during gameplay.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
