I'll try to be kind since someone did put effort in to the module to an extent, but, as shown by the rating, I did not enjoy running the module. Luckily I'm used to impromptu sessions and my players were great, but really it would have been similar if I just had a map, names and the description of the general plot.
After running the module three times, I've come to the conclusion that the writers did not fully know how everything would play out. It's almost as if they had an idea, created part 1 and then published before deciding on where part 2 and 3 went. This is substantiated by the fact that there is little to no detail in the NPCs and very little forethought regarding major plot points.

Main Plot Issues to be solved in order for this to be worth the money:
- We need the logistics of how they get there and back, whether or not they are physically traveling, etc. This is a simple question that should have come up in playtests. The Blackstaff teaches them how to read the writing on the ring during the ritual but is that because it's needed to teleport? Is that how they're getting back? If not, how will they? Those are simple questions that players will want to know.
- The NPCs are extremely shallow. Honestly I would trade the entire palace description for just another page of actual NPC descriptions so I can roleplay them appropriately.
- Why would Artor even come with them? And why is that a main objective without any sort of real support for having him come along. It just relies on player decisions hoping the DM roleplays him in an interesting manner, enough to want him to come with them.
- Palace descriptions are extremely lackluster. They evoke no real image and many of them are copy-pasted.
- There's no actual descriptions for either Amahl Shoon III or IV. I had to roleplay them in very one-dimensional ways because I know nothing about them.
- What city are we even in? According to wikis, this should be in the South of Faerun (Shoonach?). Considering people will also want to know and maybe explore outside the palace, I'd like to know where to go.
I could go on, but obviously it's beating a dead horse.
TL;DR - Shallow NPC/Location descriptions, no answers provided for obvious questions that will come up leaving the DM to guess at what the rest of the trilogy will say, left to guess how to run it.
